Senior Prank Could Ruin the Lives of These Kids...

  • sherm03
20 students broke into Lockland High School just north of Cincinnati to pull a prank. The students were going to take all of the books out of the library and move them into the cafeteria.

The cops were called and responded to the scene and arrested the kids for breaking and entering and resisting arrest. 12 of the students were over 18, and are now facing felony charges!

That's seriously going to suck if a senior prank basically ruins the lives of these kids.

I'm sure that it will work out so that they are not charged with felonies.
  • sonofsam
Yeah, that would suck big time.

It is a pity that a high school diploma does not come with common sense...

Eh the school will realize it was for a prank, maybe not let them walk, and then theyll be slapped with misdemeanors

Let's hope the people on the grand jury feel the same way you do.

They should be charged with felonies if only because that is a pretty lame senior prank.

Who cares about moving effing books around.
  • se-alum
Yea, I seriously doubt they get indicted.

...It starts with things like this and then next thing you know they'll be ringing door bells and running away. When will this type of mayhem end?

1 year probation and 200 hours of creative thinking classes.

If I was the Judge ( Judge Belly) ...I would make each kid move one book at a time back to the library and lick the out side binding before putting it back ...if they did get an education in school they could get a taste of real life now.
I would also make the all clean and wash each class room in that school .... that way they would be getting a clean break from the school....

    :D

Point was that it really isn't that funny or "epic" of a prank.

If you're going to run the risk of being charged with a felony, at least go all out. :D

GET OFF MY LAWN, YOU DAMN WHIPPER SNAPPERS!

They should've moved the principals car to the roof, but remembered to put the top up before it rained!!

I seriously doubt it. My brother in law burnt down the security guards shack his senior year as a prank and didn't get a felony outta it.

Charge them. Stupid stuff like this deserves to be punished. Seriously, what is the big deal with the senior prank? When did this stupid idea take hold? If these students were stupid enough to commit breaking and entering and then flee from the police, they deserve to have their lives ruined. Whining that it was just a prank should have no bearing on the case.

    ^^Cool story brah!

My question is if 12 of the 20 students were actually adults, shouldn't they be better in football?

why does it deserve to be charged? do we really need this kids thrown into over crowded prisons? do we really need to see this kids punished to the furthest extent of the law even though thousands of people who actually deserve to be punished get off through technicalities?

no, and it is dumb to think otherwise. They should not go unpunished, just not like that.

They will all plead down to criminal trespass or something of the sort. Records will be exsponged in a year.

I agree with those who think the students should be stoned to death with a gun shot.

They'll be better off dead than having to explain why they are felons for the rest of their lives.
  • darbypitcher22
i'm gonna ssume it wasn't a big deal until 12 of them decided to resist.... that's when things got testy...
