WriterbuckeyeI was privileged to work with Stephanie on two breast cancer awareness campaigns when I worked at the state health department.
She was every bit as warm and genuine in person as she came across as being on television. Just an amazing and courageous woman.
She and Chris had this spiritual connection that you could feel when you were around them. It was like you could feel the warmth of the love they had for one another.
Someone said the Dispatch reported she had had 5 recurrences of cancer in the past 10 years or so; I can't imagine going through the anguish of thinking you might have finally beaten it, only to have it keep coming back.
Again, truly courageous.
Rest in peace, Stephanie, you've earned it. -
tontoMay God Bless the Spielman family.

George CostanzaMy parents took a friend of our family down for to the James a few weeks ago and said that Stephanie did not look good.
