What is your earliest memory?

Fab4RunnerFirst dance recital. I was four years old and my costume was a bumble bee.
I washed my hamster with Nair and it died...I think I was three. I barely recall this but of course everyone likes to tell that story.
Family pics when I was 4ish. They let my oldest brother hold a stuffed animal and my other brother got to wear a watch and I got NOTHING. I was so pissed that I refused to smile in any of the pics.
I remember a lot of stuff from when I was five...but one thing that stands out is when my parents took my two older brother to an Indians game at Municipal Stadium and I had to stay home with the sitter and my younger brother and sister. Also pissed about that. -
Devils AdvocateI was VERY small.... I was in a very dark warm but cramped space. Suddenly something really hard started poking me in the ribs. I tried to move but I couldn't. I Kicked and kicked trying to get away from this thing. Just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, It puked on me and quit.

1) Trapped on the slide of our swingset by a leghorn rooster only to have my bare legs (wearing shorts) pecked mercilessly at around the age of 5.ernest_t_bass wrote:
One of the best quotes I think I've ever read on freehuddle.BR1986FB wrote:There would be three more attacks between the age 3 and 10.
2) Around age 8-9 threw a baseball under our pine tree and had my glasses shattered by a momma sparrow's beak when she thought I was invading her nest.
and
3) Age 10 got knocked off my 10 speed bike when a red winged black bird swooped down out of the sky, crashing into my head, knocking me off the bike,
Of course, there was also the geese incident. Birds don't like me. -

I just threw up in my mouth a bit. I had Mexican food for lunch too.Devils Advocate wrote: I was VERY small.... I was in a very dark warm but cramped space. sherm03I remember being a little over 4 years old...and watching the 1988 Notre Dame/Miami game with my dad. I can clearly remember the fight in the tunnel before the game, and I can clearly remember Pat Terrell deflecting Walsh's pass on the 2 point conversion to save the game for Notre Dame and my dad going crazy!

I remember watching that game at my grandmother's being sick as a dog (the rest of my family went to the mountains hiking); the thing I remember most is the interview with Holtz after the game, the interviewer is talking with him while the ND players are dancing around and Holtz just stops and yells at all of them to Shut UP! -

Is there anything you post on here that you don't lie about?Chesapeake wrote: I also seem to remember standing in a crib in a dark room crying when I was less than a year old.
You're like the "Chunk" (from the Goonies) of the message board with your stories and lies...except dumber, fatter and with less friends.
Come Ches...do the Truffle Shuffle!!! -
GoChiefsMy 3rd birthday, my favorite uncle coming home from being stationed in Germany. And bringing me the gift I wanted, a bubble mower! Lol

Yes. My birthday is July 5th. I remember going to the fireworks at The College of Wooster with my dad and standing under the overhang of a building as the skies poured rain down on us.Salmom wrote: 4ringz...1969 flood? -

My sister washed her own hair with Nair when she was about 8 or so! But she didn't die. It was a funny story too, but might have been better if it had killed her.Fab4Runner wrote: I washed my hamster with Nair and it died...I think I was three. sonofsamI remember our first house we lived in. I remember what the basement looked like and the lay-out of the house. My sisters couldn't believe it because I had just turned 2 when we moved. I actually remember the day we moved, my step-mom stepped on a rake and it came up and broke her nose. Other than that, I can remember some things when I was 3 years old.

just_a_swimmerI can't remember anything before I was 4 or 5 but I have a ton of memories from that time frame. I remember alot including where we lived, my friends and neighbors. I remember climbing tree's. I got stuck once and the firemen came and got me down. Mom and Dad were working and my older sister was suppose to be in charge........She never had a clue where I was. Those were the days when kids could be kids all day long. We played from morning to night. It was a great time that time in my life.

bcubedI remember I was minding my own business swimming around with my buddies and all of a sudden I was shot out a cannon and had to start swimming up a long dark tunnel. I wasn't too sure where I was going but when I got there I had to chew my way through a round piece of jello like substance to get inside. All I know is I must have been the fastest swimmer and quickest to chew my way inside because I never saw any of my buddies again. I still wonder what happened to all of them!

GOONx19Sledding accident when I was three. Big hill, metal fence at the bottom. Straight into a fence pole. 14 stiches later and the scar above my eyebrow is still showing strong.

AppleI remember story-time in kindergarden... Miss Bush would sit in a chair and make us all sit on the floor in font of her and I can remember sitting there looking up at her right in front of her legs.
