I was up there for the Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Drake concert in the lawn. And yeah it was kinda hard to see the stage but I am short (5'8) so that didn't help. But there was a big screen behind the stage for the show also.

I was there a couple summers ago and saw John Mayer and Ben Folds... I thought it was pretty sweet. Other than parking 2 miles away from the concert...

Nice place for a picnic and concert. Took wifey years ago to see the Beach Boys and Huey Lewis. Had a great time on the green, but exiting is a pain. Long wait to get O'k.

It's not a bad place to see a show. The lawn seats can be fun even though you can't see the stage all that well. And the parking and getting in and out are part of the biggest cluster fuck I have ever seen.

    Yes.

I worked there for a couple summers when I was in highschool. Pretty decent place to see a show. Its a pain in the butt to get out of there though. Played a game of "pig" with Tommy Lee in the VIP area behind the stage my senior year.

Were you by chance at the Beach Boys concert where it rained all evening and people were sliding down the hill in the mud? Wife and I were at that one along with many other great concerts.

I worked a summer there in the early-mid 80's. Saw some great shows. Julio Iglesias kept on singing and said how great the acoustics were there. On about his 4th encore, the women rushed the stage and tore his clothes off. That ended the show. He had an identical white suit waiting off stage, as if that happened all the time. It was crazy.

getting out of there after is a nightmare. can't really see the stage from the lawn, but its a fun place to see a show. saw counting crows there once and james taylor as well.

Not a terrible venue. It can he hard to see the stage from the lawn, you're pretty far back. But, last summer at DMB, trust me when I tell you that the lawn is where you wanted to be lol.

You can still hear the music loud and clear, so as long as you go to a show where the lawn turns into a party and not a bunch of lame asses, it's sweet.
