TNA Impact!

GoChiefsHad a 'HUGE' announcement tonight on Impact...they are heading back to Thursday nights starting May 13th! Who didn't see this coming?
-
Big Red Monster.5 probably had something to do with that.
-
MANAZEalso the fact that a replay on thursday beat the monday showing
-
HereticYou have to give them credit for playing it up like it's a good thing, as opposed to the crushing realization they are nowhere near competing with WWE. In business, denial can be a positive attribute.
They're basically saying..."Okay, maybe all you WWE fans who also watch us as something to do on slow Thursday nights will start watching us again...PLEASE???????" -
ChesapeakeTNA will probably fold by January.
Can't believe they're still around. -
Big Red MonsterHogan helped destroy one company, looks like he is on the way to number 2.

*edit* oppps -
newarkcatholicfanI guess in the land of fake wrestling where has been and never was athletes go to play this organization is the minor league to the WWE.
-
Mr PatJust like ohiochatter is the minor league to JJ. Can you imagine how much some of these never were's can leg press??

Little DannyTNA needs to stop being the WWE-lite. In order for them to catch up and surpass the WWE they are going to have to offer a true alternative brand of wrestling. For example, back in the 80's the WWF was primarily in the northeast part of the country. The wrestlers were cartoonish and they employed skits in between matches. The Jim Crockett Promotion/NWA and Mid-South Wrestling marketed itself to wrestlers in rural areas and in the South. While the WWE had jobbers getting blasted by the main eveters, the NWA packed numerous matches in their alloted time. In addition, they put on quality matches. As a result, a lot of people watched these promotions over WWE.
I am not saying TNA needs to go back to a 1986 brand of wrestling (maybe they need to), they do need to offer something distinctly different than the WWE in order to catch up.
