mattinctownAll of them are good, but I like the seasoning Outback puts on it the most.

That's why I prefer it over Lone Star and Texas Roadhouse.mattinctown wrote: , but I like the seasoning Outback puts on it the most. -
gerb131Of the chains Applebees Bourbon Street Steak and then Roadhouse.
Non chain, The Top for central Ohio. Been to a few chop houses and I thought they were vastly overrated as the one in Cleve sucked but the one in Chicago was awesome. -

I was just about to say The Top. The Top is the GOAT, and almost nobody knows where it is or has heard of it.gerb131 wrote: Of the chains Applebees Bourbon Street Steak and then Roadhouse.

EnforcerYes, Applebees Bourbon Street Steak is great
-
sherm03Of the chains I'm a fan of Lone Star.
Non-chains...all of Jeff Ruby's Steakhouses are amazing and have the best steaks I have ever tasted.
For grilling, I prefer to get my steaks from a traveling meat salesman. -
Fab4RunnerChain: Longhorn. The seasoning is amazing.
Non chain: Chop House in Akron, any Jeff Ruby steakhouse and Real Seafood on the Docks in Toledo. -
justincredibleThe Precinct
Carlo and Johnny
Both Jeff Ruby restaurants. -

You go to Real Seafood to get a steak? Mancy's is the only decent place in this city for a steak.Fab4Runner wrote: Chain: Longhorn. The seasoning is amazing.

+1 for Ruths Chris by the way. I still need to try the place in Brooklyn NY (Peter Lugers) -
ernest_t_bassTrotters in Bowling Green.
-
Mr. 300Ruth Chris hands down.

Fab4Runner
I have had steak from Mancy's and Mancy's Italian...I prefer the steak I had at Real Seafood much better. I don't eat seafood so yes, I get steak when I go there.slingshot4ever wrote:

Cat Food Flambe'I thought that the steaks I've had at Mitchell Steakhouses were a little better that Ruth's Chris. Morton's (RIP !) were even better at one time - but they went downhill fast the last several years before they closed.

Agree. Of course, I'm probably a little biased since I work at Red Lobster, and they're owned by the same company (Darden) so whenever I eat there I get 25% off lol. But out of CHAIN steakhouses, I've had a few awesome cuts of meat at Longhorn. Roadhouse is ok, but some of their cuts of meat are way overpriced for what they are.wes_mantooth wrote: Of the chains, I prefer Longhorn.
In general, local steakhouses, or non-franchised steakhouses tend to have better quality overall (Mitchell's being a good example). -
september63Best chain I vote Outback Steakhouse. Locally, Malcuits in Stras-vegas has a great steak!!

Oh I know where it is. The problem is nobody goes to Bexley much unless you're going to school at Cap..but I agree, they are fantastic.derek bomar wrote:
