Does your mouse have balls?

  • coyotes22
    With a ball:

    Or is it ball less:

My mouse at home has a ball, but the mouse at work it ball less. I feel I have more control and easier to use the mouse at home. The mouse at work seems to hang up on the mouse pad alot.

haha yeah i remember cleaning the ball like that and getting all of that crud out. my mouses are without balls now. although i still have the ball ones for back up. the only thing i dont like about the optical ones are that they seem to wander sometimes.

Haha very true. The question should be: is your mouse a laser mouse or a POS optical one?

I have a laptop so I don't really have a mouse but a touch pad. Mount Union mostly has laser mouses. I hate the ball ones, especially with public computers because they are usually a mess.

The trouble with mouse balls is that they tend to get dirty. To have a healthy properly working mouse you need to maintain it's balls.

A moist towlette is great on mouse balls. try to handle them gently. If you have dirty mouseballs, then you have a unhappy mouse.
