For movie fans, I have always loved Michael Mann
-
Manhattan Buckeyeand the holy trinity of Manhunter, Last of the Mohicans and Heat (one of the best movies ever), and a nice follow-up with Ali. Just watched on dvd Public Enemies and it was a bit disappointing...not much character development and crazy camera movement. I give Mann credit for the depresssion-era research, but the lack of historical accuracy bothered me.
I'm saving "Up in the Air" for tomorrow, I hear it is a very good film.
