Itunes Question
-
YtowngirlinflaSo I add a lot of music to my Itunes regularly. I want to know is there a way for the folder to just update that I sync with it instead of me having to delete all music then re-add so I can add my new music?
-
dlazzI could answer this if your question made any sense.

I Wear PantsI have no idea what you're asking.

sleeperThis just furthers the stereotype that lesbians are stupid.
Also, this thread is useless without pics. -

You may want to reword your question though, it is quite confusing. -
YtowngirlinflaHaha you guys are just so funny. I was a little intoxicated when I typed that on my phone.
Anyways this is what I want to do:
1. I put all my music in a folder
2. I add new music to this same folder.
3. Is it possible for Itunes to recognize there is new music in this folder without having to add it to Itunes? -

No. Just click the new songs to play and they will be added.Ytowngirlinfla wrote: Haha you guys are just so funny. I was a little intoxicated when I typed that on my phone.

Really? iTunes can't do that? Hmm another reason I don't use it. I'd kill myself if I had to manually add all my new songs to my music software.Automatik wrote:

AutomatikI don't quite understand the issue.
Its rather simple to use. I've used almost every music managing program out there and nothing compares to itunes and I DJ and have around 12k songs.
Make sure under advanced preferences that the box is checked that says "Copy files to Itunes media folder when adding to library" Click to play/add files to library, they copy to the folder, trash the downloaded files. Simple. -

hoops23iTunes period can do that.

I Wear PantsIf iTunes for Windows can do it then iTunes for OS X will do it faster. Apple makes terrible Windows software.

What software are you talking about?I Wear Pants wrote: If iTunes for Windows can do it then iTunes for OS X will do it faster. Apple makes terrible Windows software. -
I Wear PantsiTunes for Windows as well as Safari for Windows are notorious for being performance hogs.
Both are excellent on OS X. -
dlazzHe's right. Apple software on Windows is pretty lousy.
