Survivor

Ankle BreakerWho was axed tonight? I missed the last 15 minutes.
-
vball10setJ.T.
-
Ankle BreakerThanks...well, I suppose JT's little brainstorm last week must have blown up in his face.
-
vball10setcraziest thing--Parvati (I can't stand her) gave the two immunity idols she had to Jerri & Sandra, and Jerri ended up getting ALL the votes from the Heroes--but these votes were thrown out...and as a result, all the Villains voted JT,and he was gone.
-
Ankle BreakerJust saw on TMZ where Russell was arrested for battery in New Orleans. Don't know what to make of that - either partying with money he won or frustrated from losing the heroes vs. villains competition???
-
vball10setI'd bet on the latter--I've got a feeling he may get bounced next week...
-
mattinctownDoesn't surprise me at all he was arrested for battery, seems like the kind of guy that would do that
-
Puddle JumperHe supposedly pushed some woman at a night club.Maybe Roethlisberger should hire this guy to be his body guard.
I like Russell on the show.He adds something that all the other characters lack.I hope he doesn't get the boot but I'm sure he is pissed at Parvarti for not telling him she had the idle. -
krambmanIf you missed the last 15 minutes then you missed what I believe to be the single greatest moment in Survivor history. Get on CBS.com and watch the end to see it all go down.
I think after this episode there should be no question in anyone's mind that whether you love them or hate them, Russell and Parvati are the two best players in the history of this show. -
sportchamppsRussel wil come in 6th place

Wrong. Top 3 again.sportchampps wrote: Russel wil come in 6th place -
krambmanI was so excited about this season coming into it. I've seen every episode of Survivor since the series premiered, so getting to see some of my favorites back and the fact that you already knew all the characters made me sure that this would be a great season and it hasn't let me down. In fact, it has probably exceeded my expectations. The only disappointing thing is that Survivor as a series can only go down from here. I can't imagine how there will ever be a season as good as this one or a character as good as Russell. Kind of a bummer knowing that any season after this just won't be as good.
-
Steel Valley FootballI watch Survivor and like it a lot but for some reason I feel like the show is a bit contrived. Anyone else feel that way?
-
Steel Valley FootballOk I need three more posts and I can send a PM. LOL.

I definitely agree with the assertion for Russell, and while I'm hesitant to agree on Parvati, I kinda think you have to admit it.krambman wrote: I think after this episode there should be no question in anyone's mind that whether you love them or hate them, Russell and Parvati are the two best players in the history of this show. -

True to an extent. Future seasons CAN still be exciting as they have their OWN twists and devious blindsides, but I HIGHLY doubt they will ever come as close to as epic as this season's. And as you mentioned, there will more than likely never be another Russell (aka Survivors greatest player ever).krambman wrote: The only disappointing thing is that Survivor as a series can only go down from here. vball10setRussell & Ruppert? nice
-
mattinctownI've read tons of stories that say Russell does NOT own an oil company, that wouldn't surprise me either. People have been to the address listed on websites, and it is a trailer park...
-
Ankle BreakerYeah, Russell wouldn't own an oil company, no way. He seems a lot more like white trailor park trash to me. lol

You mean like someone who doesn't know how to spell trailer? :rolleyes:Ankle Breaker wrote: Yeah, Russell wouldn't own an oil company, no way. He seems a lot more like white trailor park trash to me. lol -

The thing that makes Parvati so great is that she'll be running the show and no one has any idea. Usually when someone is in charge and calling the shots, others figure it out and either go along with them or get rid of them. She calls the shots but does it in such an underhanded way that no one picks up on it. When you combine what she has done this season with what she pulled on on Fans vs. Favorites, there's no denying she's one of the best ever.Scarlet_Buckeye wrote:

It's as if everyone plays this game at eyes level, but somehow Russell and Parvati seem to see the game from a higher vantage point. Kind of like a great point guard or Quarterback who can see things and anticipate better than anyone else. -

Russell owns an oil TANKER company... all he oversees is a small fleet of trucks. (even that is in question though as you mentioned, as apparently if you google the address there is nothing but a double wide)mattinctown wrote: I've read tons of stories that say Russell does NOT own an oil company, that wouldn't surprise me either. CBS (and Russell) tend to leave the word tanker out, because it doesn't sound nearly as good. -

haha, yeah, precisely what I meant. lolqueencitybuckeye wrote:
