Blackberry Bold 9700 or iPhone 3GS 16G

Which do I want?? I have a Curve right now, and really like Blackberry's, but I'm kinda intrigued by the Iphone. They'll both cost me $200, so price doesn't matter. Why is one phone better than the other??

Now that I have a Curve,,, I may stick with BlackBerry forever.

I know, dont help ya, :D

I have an Iphone and I recommend it

I am starting to fall OUT of love with Blackberry. The Droid is so much better. If the iPhone is as good as the Droid, then iPhone is the way to go.

I'd say the iPhone. BB has been sort of falling behind the curve for a while now.

Especially when you consider that the 3GS will be able to do multitasking and all sorts of other neat stuff when the 4.0 update comes out this summer.

Just get a Droid phone. I think Android is going to snowball and eventually outpace the iPhone

    iphone....easily.

<<<< BB user here. Wish I could afford At&T and the iphone :(

I don't think that will happen anytime soon. Android is too fragmented.

Droid wasn't an option because Verizon service is far behind AT&T around here. I went w/ the iPhone because of the 4.0 update coming out this summer.

i thought i was going to be a blackberry guy forever..i loved my curve. However, the storm was very dissapointing. So I moved on to bigger and better things. That being the motorola android.

I am pumped to make the switch to a droid as well. I will be picking my HTC Incredible next Thursday at Best Buy.

If thats the new one that comes out the 29th, i have a buddy who is going to pick that up too.

Yeah, it is the new one. Reviews are stellar, I just hope I can get the hang of it....I have always been a "free phone" type of guy.

I'm sure you can. Or at worst you could upload them to a site like flickr or something.

That's interesting. I have the Storm and like, but hate ALL the other Blackberrys.

But compared to the Droid, they all seem so slow.

I hate to steal a thread, but oh well :)

I'm in the market for a new Verizon phone. I'm not totally set on going with Verizon, but am leaning towards just renewing. I do use data/internet, etc so what's a good recommendation? I'm not really a big fan of the touch screens. BF thinks he wants a Droid and I'm up in the air.

I have the Blackberry Curve2 and absolutely love it.

*Disclaimer: I'm a blackberry guy. I hate Apple. However, the droid is pretty slick.

I still stand by the fact that if you want a business oriented phone, go blackberry. If you want a more fun, showy, phone: the iphone or droid is the choice.

My sister has a storm, I have a storm, and my other sister has a curve. I've also played with a tour, bold, etc. I like em all I just prefer touch screens. The new curve is nice I've heard.

I don't think it is as fragmented as you might like to think it is (I have seen the articles about it as well). Google knows that fragmentation can be a problem and they are moving to combat it (see v2.2 aka "froyo" news).

What can a BB do that the Droid can't when it comes to business? The Droid uses ActiveSync which is so much better than the BB system. Now, we don't use Enterprise server, so I don't know anything about that.
