Yea, Norwhich is really hot right now I've heard. One of my friends caught some dudes breaking into his neighbor's house at 5 AM up there on Norwhich like last month. Of course, they got away, because the CPD never actually do any police work that requires actual police work.

I always lock my shit, everytime. It's just habit, going into my house, turning around, and locking the door.

    ......................

He said "it finally happened" because this type of shit happens to probably 50% of the student body. Spring break weekend, on a Tuesday, some dudes bashed in my driver's side window and dented my car door (but didn't take anything). Heard some bangs outside, but didn't think anything of it, went outside a half hour later and glass was all over.

Walking to the library tonight at like 11, some poor sap who had their car parked in the exact same spot I did, had their window bashed out too. SMDH.

they stole the gaming consoles but skipped right over the flat screen.... interesting mind set, you figure they might need a nice tv to watch/game on as well

Take it as a lesson learned. Lock the doors, always.

You'd look silly walking around outside with a flatscreen.

You could throw consoles into a duffel bag and fit in nicely with the OSU crowd walking to class.

yeah, but i dont see how carrying a large dufflebag fits in with college students carrying small backpacks.

I see people carry larger bags and I go to a small school. I wouldn't think twice.

Please read this summary before posting:

    He has renters insurance.
Expected due to high crime area.
DVDs could have been put into a duffle bag.

haha yes, i do have renters insurance... heres the problem.

i have a $1,000 limit on electronic accessories (i dont remember the correct terminology) and a $500 deductible. So i could claim it and replace about 40 of the 200 dvd's that were stolen. but my payments would also go up because i am making a claim. so unless i hear from my insurance company with good news, i probably wont be getting anything back.

it sucks, but can't complain that i didnt insure all of my stuff lol

I'm sure you know that the deductible is taken from the loss (i.e. 200x$10=$2,000) not the limit.

Looks a like stop to cdexchange is in your future.
