When you see the abbreviated version of this on the main page you get 'What is your favorite bra..'

    I like that topic better.

You do get a free pass in Florida on the flip flops and visor hats.

I lived in Florida for a decade and never wore them. They jus remind me of a 3rd world nation.

I have Under Armour sandals for the beach, but that's where I draw the line.
  • Fab1b
    3rd world nation? Really people??

Someone turned me on to Reefs a couple of years ago, and they really are UNREAL for comfort. If you haven't ever tried a pair on, treat yourself and do it. You WILL notice the difference.

I don't wear flip flops, but as far as sandals and the like go, i LOVE Chaco stuff.

Really comfortable, great for outdoor activities and the like.

I have never owned a pair of flip-flops....at least that I know of. I might have as a kid. I didn't know there were different brands.

I agree that flip-flops and sandals are not the same thing.

haha its true, its all they wear in Iraq. we even held a fitness test for Iraqi police and some even ran sprints in sandals or barefeet. no wonder its an insult to show the bottom of your feet there when they all have nasty ass feet from wearing sandals all the time.

Once it's above 55, I'll wear my Birkenstocks all the time. Work, home, driving, doesn't matter. I hate socks.

    haha from dictionary.com:
a flat, backless rubber sandal, usually secured on the foot by a thong between the first two toes, as for use at a beach, swimming pool, etc. Compare thong, zori.

    ^^^

So a flip-flop can be a sandal but a sandal isn't necessarily a flip-flop! Sounds like they are different.

Sandal: a shoe consisting of a sole of leather or other material fastened to the foot by thongs or straps.

    haha but both are thongs?

Is a thong fastener and a thong shoe the same thing? I think two different uses of thong are in play there.
