One Golf Hole For The Rest Of Your Life

The one with the beer cart :)

#18 at Pebble, because I missed a 5 foot downhill putt for birdie when I played it, and I want to keep going back until I master it.

The hardest par 3 I have played...
    # 17 at The Ocean Course... Kiawah Island.
    Very, very demanding tee shot
    Always windy
    Long from the tips
No bailout really.. long and left are about as bad as short and right in the water... The safest line can still be a bad result without the perfect club selection.
Gotta have the right club for the pin location of the angled green

Played this hole with my wife... the unfortunate day Payne Stewart's plane went missing... The ranger informed us right on 17 that they thought it was bad news, yet not confirmed... very intense moment standing on 18 green.... looking at the ocean... thinking about the Ryder cup played there "The war by the shore"
For those reasons... I choose 17 at The Ocean Course... forever. (Until I play a hole that intrigues me more)

I agree absolutely great, however terrifying hole. I think it was playing about 225 from the tees that I played. All water (with two very big alligators) in front and right, that severe hill with deep ocean grass and the sand waste area left, and thick grass long. You are right there is no bailout. Who was the guy that dumped it in the water not even half way across the pond during the Ryder Cup, was it Calcavechia?

Yes... it was Calc. One of the Euro team members said it was the worst shot they have ever seen, and the commentators were unmerciful. Calc was visibly stressed.... What a Ryder Cup that was!!

LOL! As long as you play it straight, you should be good. Can play anywhere from a Par 3 to a Par 5 too! Only problem is it's one of the easiest holes in one regardless of the length it's played.

    Classy... as expected.
