Apple actually approved this, very surprising.

Im on it now. Totally kicks ass speed wise.

I just downloaded it and thought it was slow as shit, closed it and back to Safari

Are you on Wifi or 3g/Edge?
  • Fab1b
    3g right now
  • I Wear Pants
It should be a bit faster on 3g but the real gains will be noticed on EDGE.

I have Opera Mini on my Nokia phone. It's not bad at all. Sometimes it does just crash for seemingly no reason.

I thought it was faster on wifi too. Noticeably faster but yeah the real difference was on edge

I'll have to play with it, first when I click on the app it seems slow to load up where data on safari when I click the app is there as it comes up. 2nd the views really take some getting used too and getting your settings right for views. I don't think is gonna be for me, safari works just fine for me.

Using it now. It absolutely flies on this site over wifi.

I've been using it on my Blackberry for quite a while. Another user on this site recommended it so the forums show up better than the Explorer on my BB.

I was trying it out last night and at first, I didn't like it. I still don't know if I like it better than Safari, but it's definitely became faster than Safari when loading web pages over Wi-Fi..

I've been using it on my BB for a while now, so we'll see if I keep it on my iPod Touch.

I've already replaced Safari in my dock with Opera. I'll likely never use Safari on my phone again.

I will try it on wifi when I get home tonight (can't log into the network here at work), so far just tried on 3g and it is not better than Safari on 3g IMO!

I'm using it now and it seems to be flying, but earlier, not so much. I still need to test it more before i know just how good or better it is.

Playing with it now as well still on 3g but it does seem a bit faster I may end up liking it!

That was my problem last night. It wasn't going that fast, like at all.. So I re-installed it and now it's flying.
  • The Equalizer
I'm really liking this. I wish I could delete safari.
  • Fab1b
Do you have in your settings the Mobile View and the fullscreen options on or off?

If you're using Opera Mini on the iPhone/iPod Touch, beware of security risks.

    Not too bothered by it.
  • Fab1b
Love it on wifi but use Safari on 3g
