hasbeeni use opera mini on my storm
-
j_crazyIm on it now. Totally kicks ass speed wise.
-
Fab1bI just downloaded it and thought it was slow as shit, closed it and back to Safari
-
I Wear PantsAre you on Wifi or 3g/Edge?
-
Fab1b3g right now
-
I Wear PantsIt should be a bit faster on 3g but the real gains will be noticed on EDGE.
-
dlazzI have Opera Mini on my Nokia phone. It's not bad at all. Sometimes it does just crash for seemingly no reason.
-
j_crazyI thought it was faster on wifi too. Noticeably faster but yeah the real difference was on edge
-
Fab1bI'll have to play with it, first when I click on the app it seems slow to load up where data on safari when I click the app is there as it comes up. 2nd the views really take some getting used too and getting your settings right for views. I don't think is gonna be for me, safari works just fine for me.
-
justincredibleUsing it now. It absolutely flies on this site over wifi.
-
Fred FlintstoneI've been using it on my Blackberry for quite a while. Another user on this site recommended it so the forums show up better than the Explorer on my BB.
-
hoops23I was trying it out last night and at first, I didn't like it. I still don't know if I like it better than Safari, but it's definitely became faster than Safari when loading web pages over Wi-Fi..
I've been using it on my BB for a while now, so we'll see if I keep it on my iPod Touch. -
justincredibleI've already replaced Safari in my dock with Opera. I'll likely never use Safari on my phone again.
-
Fab1bI will try it on wifi when I get home tonight (can't log into the network here at work), so far just tried on 3g and it is not better than Safari on 3g IMO!
-
Bigred1995I'm using it now and it seems to be flying, but earlier, not so much. I still need to test it more before i know just how good or better it is.
-
Fab1bPlaying with it now as well still on 3g but it does seem a bit faster I may end up liking it!

That was my problem last night. It wasn't going that fast, like at all.. So I re-installed it and now it's flying.Bigred1995 wrote: I'm using it now and it seems to be flying, but earlier, not so much. I still need to test it more before i know just how good or better it is. -
The EqualizerI'm really liking this. I wish I could delete safari.
-
Fab1bDo you have in your settings the Mobile View and the fullscreen options on or off?

hoops23If you're using Opera Mini on the iPhone/iPod Touch, beware of security risks.
