Who is sitting at your Last Supper, and what's for dinner?
-
BigAppleBuckeyeIn honor of Passover and Easter, I got to thinking: if I was having a last supper, what would I want, and who would I want there?
Because most of us would include our loved ones, let's make this more entertaining. Here are the "rules:"
*What's for dinner (include a soup, appetizer, main and dessert)
*What 7 celebrities would you invite? Can be dead or alive
Here is mine:
*Soup = Max & Erma's Tortilla Soup. I know it's not Passover-friendly, but damn, for a chain restaurant that shit is tasty
*Appetizer = Lobster, brandy and cream pasta from Henry's End in Brooklyn ... just awesome
*Main = Porterhouse from Peter Lugers in Brooklyn ... simply the best steak I have ever eaten, and I have been fiending for red meat lately
*Dessert = Cannoli from Rocco's on Bleecker St, NYC ... my mouth is watering just thinking about it
My 7 celebrity guests:
*Adriana Lima, strictly for eye-candy reasons
*Marilyn Monroe (see: Adriana Lima)
*Joe Dimaggio -- not a Yankee fan, but man, he must have some stories
*Chris Farley -- guy just cracks me up, definitely miss his antics
*Ghandi -- probably wouldn't eat much, but would love to booze with him
*Kurt Cobain -- a little grungy angst would be a nice contrast
*Salvador Dali -- I figure Cobain would supply the drugs, and we could just sit back and watch this dude go to work
What about you? -
believerDinner (for the cholesterol count):
Soup: New England Clam Chowder and Caesar Salad with bacon dressing
Main: 12 oz. petite fillet medium from Ruth's Chris (side of shrooms and steak fries)
Dessert: Creme brulee and a cup of dark coffee
Guests:
* Winston Churchill and Rush Limbaugh so we could retire afterwards for a cigar, a bit of brandy, and political banter.
* Ronald Reagan to keep the conversation lively.
* Sandra Bullock and Jeri Ryan for eye-candy atmosphere but they[d have to keep their mouths shut.
* Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell just to watch them fight over the appetizers! -
Devils AdvocateJack Daniels..... Old Grand Dad and a couple of porterhouses off of the grill.
Celeb Guests................ The 78 Big Red Machine. Gotta talk about opening Day -
Con_AlmaIf it were truly my last supper it wouldn't be celebrities that would be invited.
The meal would be simple so that it could be enjoyed yet not be the focus of conversation.
Soup...my mother's beef stew.
Salad...the recipe/concoction my son and I have come to love the night before his wrestling tournaments.
Main course...blackened swordfish with a baked potato and my wife's California blend of vegetables.
After dinner a glass of 18 year old single malt scotch. -
RotinajIt would be me Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Lunchables would be the only thing we have to eat.

I'm there! But Tori is not welcome at my table ... I will replace her with Wendy the Fat Chick, this way I don't have to worry about leftoversbaseballstud24 wrote: Strictly for BAB
