Matzah: good times or bad?

    i'm a n00b. I've had the Seder meal, is that bread matzah? I always thought it was some kind of soup with dumplings.

    I do love the soup, as far as the bread goes, I can take it or leave it.

    I made five lbs of gefilte fish from scratch this year (first time I tried). So yea, I know charoses (sorry, I learned it the Ashkenaz way and have problems with Sephardic Hebrew.

    You're not far off, you are thinking of matzah ball soup, which is usually a soup made with chicken broth and dumplings made out of matzah meal (essentially ground up matzah)

    Being a frend of the Jewish people, I love me some matzah ball soup.

    Well the holiday is almost over (it's a full 8 days) so soon the Matzah boxes will be shoved to the back of the shelves.

    Bread. Nothing more than bread without yeast. Not something that I personally seek out no matter the time of year.
