First to find a post where iqqy isn't being a crybaby doom and gloom miserable POS gets reps!
IggyPride00;1545833 wrote:Reps to you my friend.
This team is so far away right now it isn't even funny.
IggyPride00;1545850 wrote:Not true at all.
I am just tired of them hiring guys we all know are fraudulent, and then wasting the seasons before they get fired when everyone realizes it as well.
Nothing ever changes because we are stricken with bad owners who don't know how to hire the right people.
IggyPride00;1554114 wrote:He's the lowest paid head coach in the NFL. $2 million doesn't buy you very much these days.
Lowest paid head coach in the NFL, most cap room in the NFL, at least we know Jimmy has had a good year.
IggyPride00;1554128 wrote:You mean that we are the only team that hired a first time head coach?
Silly me, didn't realize guys like Mike McCoy, Trestman, Arians, Marrone, Bradley and Kelly had been NFL head coaches before. All those 1st timers and we still were the biggest cheapskates.
Try using your head for something other than a hat rack before replying like that.
IggyPride00;1554155 wrote:We are the only member of the 5 win or less club from last season that has shown no improvement with their new hire.
Jacksonville has doubled their win total from 2 to 4 so far. KC from 2 to 11. Philly from 4 to 8. Arizona from 5 to 9.
Cleveland has gone from 5 wins to 4.
Turnover and new coaches are only a problem in Cleveland it seems because we keep getting the regimes that have 10 year rebuild plans where there is zero urgency to improve.
Why aren't those other bad teams from last year stuck in a rut.
IggyPride00;1554187 wrote:Hoyer had a good game against a bad Minnesota team (68 QB rtg), played very well against an above avg Cincy team, and was down 10-0 to a mediocre Buffalo team before getting hurt.
He turns 29 in October next year and coming off an ACL tear.
How is he being seen by seemingly the front office and so many Browns fans as the QB of the future?
If they don't draft a QB in the 1st round next year and somehow the season goes off track it is going to be a shit storm of epic proportions in Berea.
Joe Banner would literally be re-creating Mike Holmgren's footsteps of being hired late one season, and then wasting 2 more without drafting the QB of the future.
The QB has to come this off-season. We can't do a 3rd first year again if somehow Hoyer fails and then we get serious about the QB after next season.
IggyPride00;1556663 wrote:Joe Banner is a piece of human garbage. If this is his idea of an improved product on the field I can't wait to see what next year brings when he has even more time to put his stamp on the product.
IggyPride00;1556746 wrote:Good thing we cut David Nelson this season. It should inspire confidence to see guys like Rainey/Nelson experience success after getting off this sinking ship by Joe Banner.
Clearly talent evaluation is a strength of this current regime.
IggyPride00;1556850 wrote:I wish I shared your optimism that the 2 headed monster that is Banner/Lombardi could make the right decision on who that guy is.
I guess there is a first for everything though as even a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut.
The more I think about it the more I think Manziel is going to be a Cleveland Brown. Jimmy really only cares about marketing and putting butts in the seats, so Manziel will be a dream come true for the Browns brain trust.
IggyPride00;1559322 wrote:This is a known Lombardi mouth piece. This whole process is a sham. McDaniels is the guy. The rest of these interviews are just window dressing.
IggyPride00;1559349 wrote:Jimmy never got the MEME I guess. The Philly fans sure did.
IggyPride00;1559219 wrote:Peter King reporting the Browns really like Manziel.
This is so Jimmy. He's looking for the headlines, he wants the ESPN trucks camped out and he wants the jersey sales. Winning is secondary to this bunch. Anything involved with marketing and lining his pockets takes precedent.
IggyPride00;1559285 wrote:I gained alot of respect for the Cleveland media today.
At least they didn't sit there and allow themselves to be lied to by those buffoons.
Haslam was visibly embarrassed and pissed about that question, and I think it is great. Gives him a small taste of the outrage the fans deal with on a weekly basis because he insists on employing bran dead people like Banner/Lombardi.
I also loved the question about why the GM of the team is essentially in the witness protection program and is neither seen nor heard from. Joe Banner said "he hadn't really thought about it."
It's amateur hour in Berea right now.
I just want to know when the grown-ups are allowed to come in and clean up the mess.
IggyPride00;1559145 wrote:On the contrary, I knew exactly who he was.
He was a troll in Philly and make things miserable in that organization. He was always jealous of Andy Reid, and was bound and determined to show everyone here that he was more than just a bean counter.
I have been so down on him because I knew this is how things would play out with him.
This is what happens when you bring Joe Banner into an organization.
He creates distrust and paranoia between the players and front office, and sits around like a half ass version of Dr. Evil.
The guy is a first class bum, and knowing we have a crook for an owner I am not surprised they get along so well.
IggyPride00;1559160 wrote:Andy Reid was 100% responsible for picking the players.
Joe Banner was nothing but a bean counter.
In Cleveland, Joe Banner has final say on personnel.
You do realize that we have a bean counter picking players and not Andy Reid (who was responsible for their success) don't you?
We hired a 1st year personnel man to run the team. It defies reason.
IggyPride00;1559170 wrote:He was in charge of the business operations. That is what team Presidents usually do. They don't get jealous they aren't in the limelight like Joe Banner and try and move in on the personnel side.
IggyPride00;1559191 wrote:These guys are freaking clowns.
Part of the reason the special teams sucked so bad this year was they were releasing the bottom 1/3rd of the roster seemingly every few weeks. Those are the core guys of a special teams unit usually.
It's like a freaking clown car with the unholy Trinity of Haslam/Banner/Lombardi driving the team into a ditch.
IggyPride00;1559194 wrote:Reps for injecting some common sense into this place.
IggyPride00;1558899 wrote:If we get McDaniels you can sure as shit believe Tebow is not far behind.
Jimmy is more concerned with selling jerseys and marketing opportunities than he is winning football games.
Everything they are doing so far demonstrates that building a first class organization is last on the priority list.
IggyPride00;1558911 wrote:It would have the ESPN trucks swarming and national interest for the first time in decades.
Organizations that want to win don't hire Mike Lombardi.
Everything has to be a gimmick since they won't put the pieces in place to really win.
IggyPride00;1558917 wrote:I am not trolling at all.
We just hire one piece of shit after another and I can't be supportive of something I know is bound to fail.
Bring a winner into this organization and I will be the biggest fan boy you've ever seen.
Serve me up pieces of human excrement like Joe Banner, Lombardi, Pat Shurmur and this is what you get.
IggyPride00;1558943 wrote:Reps my friend. This is 100% correct.
IggyPride00;1558860 wrote:I've got to hand it to Banner.
I knew he was a piece of shit who would fuck things up, but not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined it would implode not even 1 calendar year after Chud being hired.
IggyPride00;1558866 wrote:LOL.
The biggest joke in Cleveland Sports history, and that is saying alot.
IggyPride00;1558870 wrote:More Belichek retreads.
I would rather Thom McDaniels coach this team than Josh at this point.
I wonder if they will trot out photos of him as a Browns fan as a child like they did Chud.
IggyPride00;1558879 wrote:Don't mind him, his asshole is a little sore from bending over so Joe Banner could give it to him.
He's been a staunch defender of the regime, and it is failing spectacularly.
IggyPride00;1558660 wrote:Truth hurts.
You people laughed at me when I told you Joe Banner was a troll.
I guess I am just happy it only took a year for everyone to catch on instead of the normal 3-4.
IggyPride00;1558631 wrote:Joe Banner is exactly who we knew he was, and yet we hired him anyway.
This guy is a piece of human garbage. Not shocked he and Haslam have formed such a tight bond.

IggyPride00;1558648 wrote:I am accepting apologies right now.
This guy is a freaking troll and doesn't know shit about anything.
While all of you were busy mocking he was busy burying the organization.
A first rate piece of trash this guy is.
