Then there is the whole notion that ESPN as a company doesn't give two shits about anyone involved here, it's simply an issue where they can tug on people's emotion and get them to listen to the debate--therefore creating traffic, and therefore ad revenue. People are WAY too quick to reach to emotion rather than rational, intelligent thought. The way Martin handled the situation was perfect IMO, he ignored it and when it became too much he removed himself from the situation. He let Incognito bury himself, rather than throwing punches or going in front of a camera and calling him out and making himself look like just as much of a bully. Most people don't condone this kind of activity. People who act the way this guy does WILL bury themselves every time if you just let them do it.
