Winner Winner !!

What a day! Both winners in today's race are friends of mine. (ST)#33 Skullcandy Nissan and (GS)#61 Roush Mustang. So much fun! Billy Johnson made it two years in a row at Daytona. Lara & Vesko winning was a BIG surprise to everyone.
:D Tomorrow will be a long day.

Are you at Rolex 24h Daytona today?

Jordan Taylor got 2nd place and a hand full of blisters in the Rolex 24, and Ricky got 5th in the Spirit of Daytona car. Shank's 60 car made up 6 or 7 laps after early trouble to finish 3rd. 709 laps complete on the 3.56 mile course for the top 3 cars.

4 days. Leaving pit road before the race I looked at the guy next to me and it was AJ Foyt. Got to say hi and glad he could make it. He was supposed to be Grand Marshall last year, cancelled because of surgery/health recovery. He was cool, enjoyed his day as a guest. Hurley Haywood was Grand Marshal. The chili cook off was sold out in no time. Incredible. Luckily I got some Jack Daniels chili before it was gone. Caution was out for 1 & 1/2 hours at sunrise today because heavy fog rolled in. I was able to go everywhere all over the track. Met one of the Nonnamaker drivers from N. Canton. Their shop is at the CAK airport. They had plenty of problems with both cars, but it was expected because they were used. Still an impressive debut in DP class for the Sahlen's cars. Met a bunch of VIP's at a get together Friday night. Met a few more drivers and friends wandering the garage. Took 1200 pictures. Probably got 50 good ones.

Funny posts during the fog yellow this morning.

"There are jet dryers on the track. Someone should warn them that Montoya is currently on track as well."

"Its PAYBACK Time for the jet dryer drivers!"

"We blue flagged the dryer when Montoya passed it... Seemed appropriate even under double yellow. Can't be too safe!"

The ones from Magnus and the corner worker were the best.
Yep, I got my pic with the Turner girls too. Clint Bowyer really liked the WeatherTech girls. They were in white bra/panties and body paint. I have better pics than what you posted of the 01 and every other car.
    ;)

Ray Mason of Columbus, OHIO. His teammate's car like this one crashed hard and the driver got 6 broken ribs.

Chad Gilsinger from Marysville, OHIO has the best co-driver of all. Too bad the brakes burnt up.

Watching a pile of metal and rubber driving around in circles for 3 hours floats some people's boats I guess. And people actually pay money to watch it! On weekends no less.

Metal, rubber, and carbon fiber. Not circles, its a road course. Not 3 hours, 24 hours. I get in free, lol. I pay at the dirt track. Weekends? 10 or 12 nights in a row on the 2 short tracks. /thx4playin
