To be fair, history says he's not going out on a limb with that prediction.

Listening to Cleveland ESPN XM this morning sounds like quite a few longtime Brownie fans aren't exactly doing cartwheels over Jimmy Boy's recent hire. As one caller said, "If he brings in Norv, then all we got is two guys who have really never won anything."

Except Norv won two Super Bowls in the position Cleveland will hire him to fill.

I imagine it must take an extremely positive, hopeful, almost naive belief in reality to remain a Cleveland Browns, Indians or Cavs fan year after woefully disapointing year. But somehow all you poor schlubs north of Mansfield somehow do it no matter how crushing the news of the next coach, star player or owner is. For that allow me to salute you with the sound of one man clapping.

I'm not a Browns fan in the least. I just enjoy countering you're stupid posts.

So many of you love to counter my "stupid" posts.

Vball - nice article on Chud. I'm sure he's a great guy, but he's not what Haslam said he was going after. I strongly doubt this will be the answer the Browns need.

First Energy Field lends itself to so much comedic material...

    Browns look "powerless" today.

    Browns better "recharge the batteries".

    Browns looked "shockingly" bad today"

The team had a complete "Browns Out" on the field today.

This team has less juice than Davis Besse.

    and on and on.

Great article. I even love the Fred Beier reference. The pride of SJCC ;)
