Is Tonight's NC Game the Most Anti-Climatic Game in Recent Memory?

  This entire bowl season has been kinda... eehhh take it or leave it. Now we have a NC Game that really doesn't even match up the two best teams in the country. Unfortunately it will be a snooze fest - over by halftime with the Fkn SEC taking crystal home for the 7th consecutive year.

  You remember when Beckman lead the Buckeyes to its 2nd straight NCG appearance vs. a much better LSU in 2007? I was happy to see the Bucks in the NCG, but knew we wouldn't have a shot.

  This year the only area that really hates both is the midwest/B1G fans. While other areas may hate ND for being catholic, really only this area simply hates them for existing

  Well it is finally a game that both teams will care about and the loser cannot say that it was just an exhibition and they didnt care about the game!
  
  
  I guarentee that ND will cover the spread in this one, and 50/50 on if they will win it. With LSU and FLA not looking that impressive in the bowl game I think it leads us to Alabama not being as great as some expect.
  
  I dont think it is anti climatic at all. I would have loved to see a 4 team playoff this season. The fact that it is ND has some people not liking this matchup as there are alot of people who just hate them. I am not a ND fan at all, but I am excited for this NC game. A midwest team not too far away makes it more interesting then two teams from regions of the country I dont care about.

  I agree to a certain extent, but I do think ND has a better shot than we did back in '07...a much better shot.
