  Oh noes, someone gives his opinion that a annual 6-6 team that hasn't won a relevant game since the 80's is terrible. Let's suppress his opinion and compare him to Nightrider who trolls a team who's won more BCS bowls than anyone and has more conference titles in the past decade than anyone else.

  There is a difference between having an opinion and sharing it as opposed to ramming it down someone's throat. But like I said previously. I think it's funny that two people both think I only protect a certain different team.
  
  It's of course someone else that is the problem and certainly not your own actions. Who cares for accountability when it's the system that is out to screw you.

  Oh please. If that's the case, a lot of threads contain people sharing their opinion over and over again(ramming down someone's throat) but nothing is done about them. Just accept what it is; if you don't post something positive, even if its an outright lie, then that user is trolling and thread banned. What a joke. So much for the concept of a discussion forum. Your actions are a microcosm of what's wrong with society; sheltering people from criticism and telling them how great they are when reality speaks differently. I hope you can sleep at night.

  I get about 8 hours of refreshing sleep at night. Thanks for your concern! But more to your point. I find it funny how you point to that my actions are a microcosm of what is wrong with society when I think the same about you and your actions. You can discuss something negative or criticize and do it in a respectful manner. People are much more willing to listen to people who are being respectful and civil than those who are intentionally trying to inflame. Emotions frequently block rational though and discussion and as such should be avoided in most situations. Sometimes certain situations call for a venting, but once that is done then it is time to move on and not keep revisiting as that is not necessarily healthy either.
  
  You are the type of persona that is great for seeking attention and making sure you are heard, but terrible at actual persuasion or discussion. You are a Skip Bayless or Stephen A. Smith. You think talking louder and being more obnoxious makes your point more justifiable. It doesn't.

  I wouldnt say that a football team needs "criminals" on the team to make them better.
  
  However....I do believe, especially in football, that you need some crazy MoFo's, especially on the defensive side. Not necesarily of the criminal element, but those guys who are just plain aggressive as can be, crazy, insane, whatever you wanna call it but in society can abide by the laws and not cause problems.

  I don't see how you can get any more respectful and civil in a conversation by pointing out that ND skirts criticism and pays the minimum penalty in all case; but if the situation were reversed ND fans would be calling for the head of the whole University(see Tattoo gate). I mean a freaking kid died at ND due to gross negligence and ND fans were clamoring about how terrible the punishment of a whopping $70,000 was so harsh and then used that to justify another 6-6 season with a bowl loss.
  
  ND is a joke of a school. They have the worst fans and there's nothing wrong with reminding the worst fan base in history that their team is absolute shit. We get to hear about how great ND is going to be next year shoved down our throats until that year actually comes and they go .500 and lose a bowl game they don't deserve. Consider me the counterbalance to all that moronic groupthink; ND deserves everything in gets provided free speech is not suppressed which clearly is something you support.
