Commander of AwesomeAlso this thread seems eerily similar to an automatik/zwick thread.

reclegend22If his plane doesn't make it, or he ends up getting murdered by a serial killer, such as the Monster of Florence, who has never been caught and his grisly slaughterings never solved, how would we even know?
For people who don't have any contact with or knowledge of anyone on this site in the outside world -- like me -- I guess they just stop posting and that's that. You would never actually know if somebody died. I wonder how many people we've chatted with on here over the years, and at JJ, have died and we don't even know? Something interesting to ponder.
Safe travels. Lol. -

I just started reading the book. Is it an interesting story?reclegend22;1250333 wrote:If his plane doesn't make it, or he ends up getting murdered by a serial killer, such as the Monster of Florence, who has never been caught and his grisly slaughterings never solved, how would we even know?

I have actually never read the book, so I can't really say. I have seen several documentaries on "II Mostro," as the perpetrator of the strain of murders is known in Europe, and they have all been incredibly fascinating, going into much detail about all of the suspects and arrests that have been made in connection to the Monster's killings. All I believe have since been released. I could be wrong, however.like_that;1250337 wrote:I just started reading the book. Is it an interesting story?
I enjoy that type of genre, especially on the silver screen, so I might have to check it out now. -

I'm not sure about Netflix (I don't use that service), but here's a link to a documentary site called DocumentaryStorm that has one on the Monster of Florence: http://documentarystorm.com/monster-of-florence/ernest_t_bass;1250366 wrote:Any on Netflix?
Here is another documentary from the Biography Channel that I have seen before on TV. It's on Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/watch/210534?c=News-and-Information/Documentary-and-Biography
Also, MSNBC has done a number of great pieces over the years, which I've enjoyed (if that's the right word). -
CherThis place is way better without RDI accusing me of being sleeper/dlazz every post I make.
