PLAYOFFS!?!?!?!? Don't talk about Playoffs.

Fantasy playoffs are here. How did we do?

I have no meaningful game this week. I missed the playoffs in the league where I went Dez, Green, E. Sanders rounds 1-2-3 and played Woodhead/Forsett at RB.

I have byes in my other two season long leagues but really need Gronk back next week on 1 team to have a chance and the other league I am totally reliant on Steelers/Dolphins (Ben, Williams, Brown, Landry, Miller). My backup QB in that league is Rivers so I'll probably play him next week when they play the Dolphins and the Steelers have the Broncos. Rivers pretty much carried me most of the season.

Rebounded from a 1-4 start to go 7-6 and snag the 4 seed. I'm only in one league.

13 money leagues, 12 playoff berths, 4 byes. Unfortunately, the one I missed, was my most important league (first 5 picks were Charles, Hill, Anderson, Evans and Roethlisberger).

It's hard to say there was a pattern, but I did go heavy Allen Robinson, John Brown, Todd Gurley and Martavis Bryant in leagues and didn't draft Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan or Peyton Manning but once combined. I also got ahead of the game on guys like David Johnson and Thomas Rawls, ending up with them in many leagues where I was able to just hold them. Defenses...I have Denver or Arizona in 9 of those 12 leagues...and I've never had to really hold more than 1 DEF in those leagues.

It's going to be very interesting for drafts next year. The common theme will be to avoid RB's, given how much attrition there has been. The teams who are on top right now, are seemingly sitting on a solid steal at QB (Palmer, Dalton, Fitzpatrick, Taylor, Bortles, Carr, etc...) and have the plug and play WR's. At RB, if they were able to snag many of the waiver valuables (West, Johnson, Allen, Williams, Rawls, McFadden, Draughn, Langford or survived with the likes of Peterson, Gurley, Ivory, Martin, Forte, etc...they are solid. Pretty much everyone is hit or miss at TE at this point, but I have Olsen and Walker in 6 of those 12 leagues.

Made the playoffs, just missed a first round bye. Playing the #1 scoring team in our league so I'm basically fucked.

I have a few teams like that and it's not a bad position. You have nothing to lose. You can roll out guys with high ceilings and see what happens.

I have 2 money leagues and 2 fun leagues. In my most important money league I finished in first place and got a first round bye. My team was dubbed the favorite to win ever since the draft ended so I'm hoping to make it happen. Missed the playoffs by losing last week to the team that got the 4 seed in the other money league. In the 2 non money leagues I made the playoffs in both of them but don't have high hopes of winning either.

Except, you know, a shot at winning a lot of money for winning the playoffs lol

But no, I know what you mean. My team is loaded, I just am fucked this week with matchups and going against the top scoring team. If I had a BYE, I'd be fucking set.

Where the fuck do you find the time to draft and manage 13 teams?

Made the playoffs but I just lost Mark Ingram IR, lost Jamael Charles and Dion Lewis early in the season, as a 4th place team I have beat 1# and 2 # already this season ...

It's not that difficult. Spend 30 minutes a day total or so going through each one...monitoring injuries, waivers, etc...

It's like betting on sports though. I put around $650 on fantasy leagues and full expect to profit at the end.

Fuck, people spend hours a week posting on this forum for nothing...

    2 Money Leagues

1st, in One....playoffs don't start til next week, so could still lose it.

    4th, in another. 14 Teamer.

In the 1st place league, I drafted Eddie Lacy first overall, and took Jeffery/Evans in round 2-3. I really hit in the back end of the draft, where I got Tom Brady in round 10, and Amari Cooper in round 7. Some decent work on the waiver wire has me heading in to the playoffs with this line up.

    Brady
DeAngelo Williams, Buck Allen, Lacy, Powell, Melvin Gordon, Hightower (just picked up due to ingram)
Jeffery, Evans, John Brown, V. Jackson, Robert Woods
    Jordan Reed, Zach Miller

In the 14 teamer, I drafted Demaryius in the 1st round, and followed with AJ Green in the 2nd. Team was playing like garbage, however I was able to steal Devonta off the waiver wire in week 2, rode him to some wins and dumped him off for 2 starters. Made 6 total trades, and I'm heading in to the playoffs with this team.

Manziel, Luck (Shoot me, I know)
Rawls, David JOhnson, Powell, Beast Mode, Antonio Andrews
AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, Allen Robinson, Dez
    Delanie Walker, Witten

My only major fuck up was trading Cam Newton, for Lynch.

Yeah I don't think it would be that hard to manage 13 teams... The thing that would suck would be drafting for them since everyone I know normally drafted the weekend or 2 before the season starts.
  • Azubuike24
I did a draft about every other day for a 4-week period from late August up until the Wednesday before the season. Not that difficult.
  • GOONx19
8/12 in my only league. Was 1-6 to start the season. Not my year.

Hard to count on rivers now with his receiving corps.

    3 money leagues.
1st one, I'm fighting for the 8th spot. I need to win and another guy to lose to get it.

Kicker: I'm the highest scoring team. We're looking into changing to playing h2h vs everyone each week for increase the sample size. We had a similar-ish situation a couple years ago.

I drafted ivory and Ingram. Hill was my keeper. Traded Ingram early for Emmanuel Sanders. Picked up Charcandrick west and traded him for Keenan Allen. Was able to nab Spencer Ware and David Johnson off waivers when it counted.

2nd money league, #1 seed. Lost Keenan Allen here and lost Forte for a while. I have ivory and hill(see my preseason game plan?) grabbed Shaun Draughn and he's been surprisingly consistent. Plugged nate Washington in the week he blew up. Russell Wilson has helped the last 2 weeks.

3rd money league I'm in 3rd. I traded a lot initially, but have Murray n Murray. Sanders, Hopkins, Dez. And Olsen.

I got rid of Julio jones for a package that completed my team. I forget the details.

Quick help. I'm up 80-48 he has gronk, lafell and NE kicker left and I have miller and Parker. Do I sub out Parker for Nate Washington or keep Parker in?

Go with Parker. Patriots defense is pretty solid, and I don't expect much out of the Texans.
