Week 6 Start/Sit

  • TBone14
Bye weeks and injuries are taking over. These are weeks that separate the winners and losers. The playoff contenders and wannabes.
Full point, PPR. All TDS worth 4.

    Pick 2

    Jeremy Hill v Bills
    Lamar Miller v Tenn
    Theo Riddick v CHI
    Lagarratte Blount v Indy

Leaning Miller and Theo. Theo seems to have the highest floor of the group and if a coach firing + bye week doesn't get the Dolphins to get back to establishing some type of run game with Miller or at least getting him more involved in the passing game...nothing will.

    Hill and Lamar IMO.

Thanks. It's hard to consider sitting your big ticket guys but Hill has been so miserable. If you take his TDs away...he hasn't had a good game yet. He's been bailed out with a 2 TD and 3 TD game. He hasn't topped 12 carries since week 1 and has two catches all season. If it wasn't for his name and what he did last year...you would be looking at this guy as the wrong guy in a time share. I think Theo is a must start at this point in PPR leagues. Especially with Abdullah being benched on Sunday; Theo may be in line for an even bigger role. We will see.

I'd play Riddick and Miller in PPR. Gio Bernard out-snapped Hill 68-19 last week. Yes, Cincy got down, but Buffalo has been crushed against the pass and dominant against the run. Only way I see Hill getting his would be the Bengals getting ahead and Hill getting more chances to get out of his funk.

PPR (1 pt per 25 ret yards)...start 2 RB...C.J. Anderson, Duke Johnson, Chris Ivory...start 1 FLEX...John Brown or Ty Montgomery
Standard...start 1 FLEX...Brandin Cooks, Duke Johnson, Tevin Coleman
    Standard...Ameer Abdullah or Jeremy Hill
PPR...start 1 FLEX...Duke Johnson, John Brown, Ameer Abdullah or Andre Ellington

    1. Ivory and Duke (Nobody is running on Denver but he might catch a bunch of checkdowns)- Would lean Montgomery in a return league.
    2. Standard league I go Cooks in a decent matchup with a high total vs Atlanta
    3. Hill over Abdullah
    4. PPR flex I go Duke. Ellington had what...one carry last week? Abdullah was benched. Who knows what's going to happen there. John Brown is a TD dependent big play guy. Not going to rack up a ton of catches.

I'd probably go with Miller and Hill.

Ivory and Johnson / Flex I'd go Montgomery
    Johnson
    Hill
    Johnson

    PPR, pick 2....

    Lacy vs San Diego
    Forsett vs San Francisco
    Ivory vs Washington
    Ingram vs Atlanta

Lacy and Forsett started off terrible, Forsett has turned it around and Ivory and Ingram have been doing quite well. Do I sit either "stud" and go with the hot hands? Or just let it go Lacy and Forsett like I have been.

The "projections" are saying Lacy and Ivory, for what it's worth.

I don't see a way Ingram isn't heavily involved vs Atlanta. Hard to sit Lacy against a terrible run D. Forsett is banged up and the Niners have gotten gashed by the passing game. The wild card is Ivory. Washington has been a good run D, but Ivory also seems pretty safe to get the work. I'd play Lacy and Ingram this week...

I'd definitely play Ivory and then probably Lacy.
