Anyone play on FanDuel?

  • Dr. KnOiTaLL
Just curious. I just started playing and it's pretty interesting, although nerve-racking at the same time. Although, I did win like $40 the other day, so that was sweet haha

No but I'm tempted to try one of the 50/50 leagues. I have a hard time trusting websites that offer to match your deposit. That was the main reason the poker sites were corrupt

Yeah, they match it, but it's deposited over time as you play games... Like $.08 at a time. It's still pretty fun though. I need to stop doing the $5-$10 games though. I was up to like $50, but I'm back down to where I started at $25 now.

    What commission do they take?

Typically, they take something like 10%

For instance, you can do a $1 head to head matchup against someone else. If you win, you win $1.80. The other $0.20 goes to FanDuel. Not too shabby though. I just do the smaller ones and it's kind of fun. A little more interesting than the rest of my no-cash fantasy leagues. I actually won like $40 the other day, and then won like $15 two days ago.

I've continued to play NBA through the playoffs and have been having a decent amount of success. I only do the $2 tournaments, and I normally do like 4 lineups per night. I started with my initial deposit of $25, and I've doubled it so far, so not a bad start for being a beginner. Some of those guys make a ton though! Crazy! I read one guy does that as his job. He made like $150,000 last year. If I didn't have more self respect than that, I would quit my 9-5 and do that haha.

First time trying football on FanDuel. I did three $1 tournaments, a $2 tournament, and a $1 head-to-head matchup. So far, I'm winning $9.80.

I started playing on draftkings this football season. I love it. Haven't won much but it's still fun.

I'm having a decent day today with a couple of my lineups. One of them, I have Romo, Murray, Bradshaw, Antonio Brown, Keenan Allen, Julian Edelman (yet to play), Gates, Gould, and Lions D.

The other, I have Cutler, Donald Brown, Bradshaw, Jeffery, Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Niles Paul, Gould, and San Diego D.

Played fan duel last year and am using draft kings this year. Noticed a name I saw all over fan duel "Condia" on draft kings in my $20 10 teamer. Googled him. He's a hundred league a day guy.

Yeah, that dude does it as a job. All he does for income is play daily fantasy sports... Crazy...

I'm gonna finish 2nd to him. I had Donnel in my lineup and at 7 on Thursday swapped him out for Ertz because I wanted to use all of my cap money up. $55 on a $20 play

seems not so crazy to me. Its the same thing as a proffesional pokerplayer. If you study hard and put in more time than anyone else, you gonna beat them in the long run. Most of the people play this fantasy stuff in the evening after their dayjob. This guy just spends 6-8 hours a day researching, so he clearly has an advantage over the rest of the field therefor winning in the long run. If you want to avoid some beginners mistakes and get some strategy on these games, i can recommend this beginners guide to you: https://www.fantasysportsdaily.com/beginners-guide/
