Long Term RB/WR Potential Keepers
-
Terry_TateI have 2 big keeper leagues I am drafting for coming up and am looking for players that might not even play much this year but have potential down the road. Rookie and 2nd year guys are what I'm trying to look for.
2 Running Backs I have targeted are Christine Michael from Seattle and Marcus Lattimore from San Francisco. Lattimore probably won't even play this year and Michael may play a little, but I'm hoping to get them for $1 this year which may turn out to be a bargain down the road.
Kenbrell Thompkins would have been a qualifier at WR but he's blowing up now. I'm hoping to get Josh Gordon for cheap as well but he could be a stud this year. Deeper WRs that I'm looking at are Quinton Patton from San Francisco and Jermaine Kearse with Seattle. And actually just realized both WRs and RBs I have mentioned are from SF and Seattle, haha.
Last year I got TY Hilton for $1 and that paid dividends last year and really should pay dividends the next 3-4 years. My starters are pretty stacked in each league so I can afford to use 2-3 bench spots on potential future stars and just stash them away.
Anyone have any potential deep sleepers that are probably a year or two away from paying off? -
IliketurtlesI'd keep an eye on WRs Kenny Stills (Saints) and my homer pick Terrance Williams (Cowboys).
Can't really think of any RBs besides the two you mentioned who aren't getting a lot of hype. -
Terry_TateI completely forgot about Kenny Stills. Loved him out of Oklahoma just like Ryan Broyles but didn't even realize he is with the Saints. I'm guessing he's someone I should definitely be able to get for $1 as he hasn't been drafted in a single league I'm in. Good recommendation there.

As someone with Miles Austin I made sure to get Williams in my dynasty league and sign him to a 2 year deal -
Laley23Christine Michael is a great RB to have, but I wouldnt count on 1$ getting it done. Could still be relatively cheap though.

Commander of AwesomeBengals players, all the way. Dalton is the real deal, on his way to an All Pro season. BJGE will have a resurgance and lead the league in rushing. Book it.

If it's $3 or less I'll be thrilled. I have Marshawn Lynch so would be perfect. Lattimore I think I really can get for $1 because nobody is talking about him. -

I drafted BJGE in one league really late. I fully expect Gio Bernard to take over for him by like week 5.Commander of Awesome;1492659 wrote:Bengals players, all the way. Dalton is the real deal, on his way to an All Pro season. BJGE will have a resurgance and lead the league in rushing. Book it. -
justincredibleStephen Hill will end up being a stud in a year or two. Assuming the Jets can find an average QB.

se-alumCordarrelle Patterson might be a solid late pick at WR. Probably won't do much this year, but could pay off down the road.

Terry_TateGot Marcus Lattimore for $1, Kenny Stills for $1, Josh Gordon for $4, Kenbrell Tompkins for $3 and Quinton Patton for $1. Salary cap is $120
Took Terrelle Pryor for $2 on the chance he blows up, and took Jeremy Maclin for $1 and will put him on IR.
Christine Michael went for $7 because one other guy wanted him as badly as I did, so I let him go so I could get everyone else. -
Terry_TateQuinton Patton 43 yard Td tonight from Kap on their first drive. Look out.

vball10setThinking of drafting Ginn as my #3 receiver...thoughts?

Without even knowing anything about your league I'd say there are at least 30 other guys that would probably be a #3 guy I'd rather have then Ginn.vball10set;1493573 wrote:Thinking of drafting Ginn as my #3 receiver...thoughts? -
