Laley23PPR?
Bench is pretty weak, but starters are great. Then again, I am terrible at judging 10 team drafts cause everyone seems loaded to me. -
lhslep134I like the Wilson/Romo pairing. I also liked that you got Gore and Jones at 2/3.
Not sold on Montee Ball as a consistent flex play but his potential is nice. Hopefully one of your bench receivers emerges as consistent.
Overall I like your chances. -
justincredibleI am not sure if Ball will remain a starter or not, I just have him there for now. Overall I was pretty happy with my team, especially lucking in to ADP.

LOL weren't you giving me a hard time for drafting Romo and Wilson in a 12 team league?lhslep134;1492188 wrote:I like the Wilson/Romo pairing. I also liked that you got Gore and Jones at 2/3.

Better pull that nose out from under justin's poop-shoot. -

Is this supposedly from your thread? Because I just read it and I saw no comments from him about your QBs.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1492191 wrote:LOL weren't you giving me a hard time for drafting Romo and Wilson in a 12 team league?

se-alumI would start Romo over Wilson, easily. Romo is actually a very consistant Fantasy QB. Gronk won't play until week 5 or 6 at best, more likely to be week 7 or 8. I like the starting WR's if Garcon and RGIII stay healthy. Overall, I would predict anywhere from 6-10 in your league.

I agree with this. You're first 3 picks were great but after that I don't see much promise in your team Justin haha. I do think you have some bench guys who might become starters for you (Romo, J Jones, Ingram) so I like those picks too. Like SE said I don't expect you to finish in the top 5 but anything can happen with fantasy football .se-alum;1492248 wrote:I would start Romo over Wilson, easily. Knowitalll- That was Raw Dawg and I who said it was dumb to take those 2 QBs and I still think thats the case here with Justin. -
Raw Dawgin' itJust my opinion - but i only take 1 QB, TE, and DEF. I load up on RBs and WRs cause you never know who'll turn into a stud. Case and point, Doug Martin.

My apologies. I confused you with some other numbskull lol. As a peace offering, if you go to McDonald's and mention that Dr. KnOiTaLL sent you, they will give you an ice cream cone for $1.lhslep134;1492217 wrote:Uhm no I didn't get your facts straight before calling someone out douche -

justincredibleI went in to this draft completely unprepared. Everyone else had lists of players that they were checking off as picks were being made. Like I said, it was my first in-person draft so I really had no idea what to expect.

Did you enjoy it though, now that you know what to expect? I'm in a league where we have a live, in-person draft every year, and we make it an all day event. Tons of great food, we have an actual draft lottery to determine our draft position, and then the draft follows deep into the night. It's a great time and something I look forward to every year!justincredible;1492327 wrote:I went in to this draft completely unprepared. Yeah, it was pretty cool. It was the first year for the league, I'm hoping it sticks around and we do a live draft every year.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1492335 wrote:Did you enjoy it though, now that you know what to expect? jmogMy league has been around since around 1994, back when it was pencil and paper and using the newspaper stats to hand calculate scores.
We do a live draft every year, and it is similar to Knowitall's, we have lunch on the grille, it takes most of the day, etc.
For a 10 teamer I have to agree with the above, your first 3 picks were spot on, ADP, Julio, Gore. After that you are going to find that your lack of RB depth is going to kill you on bye weeks.
Because you took Gronk, you had to take another good TE early since Gronk will be out for so long. You have 2 top 12 QBs...both of these "mistakes" could have been used to get better backup RBs.
I also agree with whoever said that, as long as this is a standard scoring league, Romo is a better fantasy QB than Wilson right now. -

Live drafts are always the best. So much fun and plus when a guy makes that crazy pick you can always pause and just laugh it out.justincredible;1492375 wrote:Yeah, it was pretty cool. It was the first year for the league, I'm hoping it sticks around and we do a live draft every year.
My main league is changing to online this year since last year 4 people couldn't make it to the draft last year(or just didn't even want to come and so they did it via skype/phone) and made a big deal about it. I'm just sad because the 5 guys other guys besides myself are still getting together and hanging out then doing the draft together this Saturday but I don't have the funds to make the trip back up to Ohio. -
ernest_t_bassSince you gave me the option... not.

justincredibleQBs get 4 points for passing TDs and 6 for rushing TDs. One point per 25 passing yards.
