Did you make the playoffs
-
sportchamppsI have 4 money leagues which include the league I'm commish of, a league with college buddies, and two pro yahoo leagues.
I'm the 3 seed in my league and won week 1 of the playoffs
In my league of college friends I have wrapped up the number 1 seed but the playoffs don't start till week 16
In the pro yahoo leagues I'm the 2 seed in one and missed the playoffs in the other despite scoring the most points in the league. Playoffs start this week -
Crimson streakNumber 2 seed for me semi finals this week in my money league. I should win this week
-

Mulva#4 seed at 8-5. Survived the first round... was up 20 heading into Monday night with opponent having Foster and Texans D (thank you Brady). Playing the top seed in semis this week. I had more total points than him during the season though.
Lineup I'm rolling with:
QB - Cam
WR - Wayne
WR - Marshall
RB - Bradshaw/D.Wilson
RB - Forte
TE - Tony G
W/R - Colston
K - Bryant
Def - Rams
Projected to lose by 1. -
sportchamppsThat's a pretty good 4th place team with the way cams been playing
-
jmogWon the first round last week by nearly doubling my opponents score (thanks Lynch, Rice, Brees, and Vikings D).
Semifinals this week, should be interesting...
Me:
Brees
Rice
Lynch
AJ Green
Wayne
Miller
Walsh
Texans
Him:
Ryan
ADP
SJax
Colston
Finley
Chandler

I am still pondering starting D. Alexander over Wayne as Alexander has been top 4 WR the last 5 weeks. -
gorocks99Jeez, your team is ridiculous. Rice and Lynch are both top 5 RBs, Green is a top 3 WR, Brees is a top 5 QB, and the rest of your guys aren't slouches either. Did you draft them all, and if so ... how?
-
GOONx19#2, but I've got some awful matchups this week for the semi-final.
Me:
Brady
T-Rich
Ridley
Turner
Cruz
J Gordon

Bilal Powell and Vick Ballard are really my only two bench options.
Him:
Kaepernick
Lynch
R Rice
S Jackson

Texans
J Brown
Standard scoring, he scored 158 last week, where 130 usually wins it. -

Our league is a partial keeper league.gorocks99;1342606 wrote:Jeez, your team is ridiculous. Rice and Lynch are both top 5 RBs, Green is a top 3 WR, Brees is a top 5 QB, and the rest of your guys aren't slouches either. Did you draft them all, and if so ... how?
We can keep 2 players from the previous season only (can only keep a player for 1 extra year). It also has to be a player that was drafted in the 6th round or later.
My 2 keepers from last year was Lynch and Green.
So, going into the draft I already had a top 5 RB and top 5 WR.
I drafted Rice in the first, Marshall in the 2nd, Ryan Mathews in the 3rd, Vick in the 4th, Wayne in something like the 8th.
Early in the year I knew that Vick, while scoring 'ok' would eventually be hurt our benched. At the time Green, Marshall, and Wayne were all top 5 WRs.
I traded Vick and Marshall for Brees and Bowe.
The rest were easily draftable in later rounds.
My team this year was set up by having 2 great keepers from last year. They way our league's keepers work most years you are happy to have 1 solid starter, I had 2 top 5 guys at their position. -

To be honest, so far that trade of Marshall/Vick from me and Brees/Bowe from the other team has worked out so much better for him.jmog;1342649 wrote:Our league is a partial keeper league.

I was the #1 seed at the time (best record and most points), he is the #1 seed now. His other QB was RG3 and he is keeper eligible for next year so he had to unload Brees for another top tier player. Marshall has never slowed down, and Brees has since the trade. -
Commander of AwesomeNope 0-3 this year. By far my worst year in fantasy.

BORIStheCrusherLast week of our regular season, I locked up a playoff spot a few weeks back. I'm 12-2 and in 2nd place; guy in first is also 12-2 but is ahead by 4 points. We are playing each other this week so will determine if I get #1 or #2 seed. My confidence levels are dropping dramatically though with the injuries on my team after losing Harvin, McCoy and now Bryant has a hurt finger.

Seriously my kicker didn't score, Eli played awful, Ray Rice and the Bears D sucked, yet this man basically singlehandedly may have advanced me to the Final 4gorocks99;1344485 wrote:QFT -

Our league is way too competitive to have 2 teams both at 12-2 or better.BORIStheCrusher;1344391 wrote:Last week of our regular season, I locked up a playoff spot a few weeks back. The best record after the 13 week regular season was 8-5, that's right, the #1 seed had 5 losses.
I just made the championship (next week), and myself and the other team are both sitting at 9-6 after 15 weeks (we are tied for the best record).
Our league has been in existence since 1995 (17 seasons) and only 4 times in 17 years has a team had 11 or more wins through 13 week regular season. So once every 4 years a team is that much better than everyone else in our league and NEVER 2 teams in the same season. -
Gblockim in the championship game..knocked out the number one seed...he had rg3 and no backup..i picked up cousins and big ben only qb left was fitzpatrick...spiller/matthews were duds for him...my team played well except for roddy white..the number two seed is going down as well ..the worst team in our league is beating him 133-96 he had drew brees and adrian peterson.... w/only chris johnson to play for the other guy...

gorocks99Off to the championship as well, I'm up 150.64-66.56 and he's only got Chris Johnson left tonight. Total domination with Blair Walsh, Dennis Pitta, Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno combining for nearly 90 points on my team.
Other side of the bracket was a blowout as well, here's the likely lineups for the 'ship:
Me
QB Romo
WR C. Johnson
WR Decker
WR Cobb
RB Charles
RB Moreno
TE Pitta
Flex S. Jackson
K Walsh
D Cincinnati
Her
QB E. Manning
WR J. Jones
WR A. Johnson
WR Hartline
RB Foster
RB Turner
TE Miller
Flex Greene/Wilson
K Graham
D Denver
Thankfully I think I have a lot of good matchups next week.
