se-alumFirst place in our league is $900. What is everyone else playing for?
-
Gblockfirst in ours is 800 second 300 and third gets money back...however last year first and second chopped it on sunday morning. which i hope gets outlawed this year.
-
gorocks99Winner should get around $275 in my one league (depends on how many waiver transactions go through), other league winner takes $225. 2nd and 3rd places get substantially less.
-
Raw Dawgin' itWinner take all, $200 bucks and our league trophy.
-
Iliketurtles$300 bucks total. Each division winner gets $60. Each win in the playoffs gets $30. And whoever wins the championship game gets $60. The champion in my league with either win $120 or $150.

So the split the $1100? Why would that be a problem?Gblock;1303571 wrote:first in ours is 800 second 300 and third gets money back...however last year first and second chopped it on sunday morning. which i hope gets outlawed this year. -

jmogMy league has a very "interesting" split, and the total pot varies depending on how many FA/WW moves are made.
Base pot is $500 but it goes up as the season goes on and FA/WW moves are made.
We also do "$5 bets" each week that adds nothing to the pot, just moves some money around. Basically in each game each week the winner each week gets $5 from the pot, and the loser has to add $5 to the pot (this rule was put in to make sure no one 'mails it in' once they lose a few games to keep the league competitive).
At the end of the season the money is split like this...
1st in points-35% (minimum $175)
2nd in points-20% (minimum $100)
3rd in points-15% (minimum $75)
League Champion (playoffs)-16% (minimum $80)
2% for each position MVP (highest scoring at each position, QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DST)...(minimum $10 each position)
2% for league MVP (highest points scored at any position)...(minimum $10)
You can imagine with the $5 bet going each week that a team that wins a lot gets a decent amount more than the numbers listed above, plus with FA moves those all go up. I would say a typical pot is about $550 with $50 in transaction fees each year.
Currently I am 1st in points, have the best record, and have 3 of the player MVPs (Brees, AJG, Zuerline) and Brees is currently the league MVP. If the season ended right now (not assuming I win the SB) I would have a minimum of $220. -
McFly1955Our total pot is $600
I forget the exact breakdown...something like $300/$200/$100 -
Midstate01Winner gets 500 2nd 200
-
BORIStheCrusher1st - $700
2nd - $200
3rd - $100
I plan on taking the $700. -

Haha...if I'm lucky enough to be in the Championship game, I'm definitely offering a split to my opponent. We pay $900 for first and $400 for 2nd. I'll take a guaranteed $650.Iliketurtles;1303630 wrote:Yeah I don't really get why that would be a problem lol. Its definitely not something I would do though.
