Dear Yahoo! Fantasy Users,
I want to sincerely apologize to all of you about today's Yahoo! Sports Fantasy outage. As the head of Yahoo! Sports and as a Yahoo! Sports fantasy player myself, I am disappointed that we failed all of our fans today. Our first priority is having the best experience for our users, and today we fell short.
The outage started around Noon ET (awful timing we know) and while our team was on it immediately we are still working on various pieces. Our team is continuing to work on identifying and resolving the root cause. We have restored full functionality on the website, and we're working for a final fix for our mobile apps. Currently data and scores can be viewed but for now you cannot make transactions or change line-ups from the apps.
We will also use today as an opportunity to improve our set-up so that we hopefully never have an outage like this again. Our fantasy commissioners and players are our biggest priority - we pride ourselves in being able to offer our users with the best fantasy sports experience possible and we take our job to deliver that to you very seriously. Rest assured we will work hard to make sure we continue to deliver on that commitment.
Thanks for playing with us and your patience today,
Ken Fuchs
Head of Yahoo! Sports
thanks yahoo for not letting me put my team in Ken i give zero fuchs if your sorry...also m. turner and E decker GFY -
BR1986FBMy whole team can GFY unless Heath Miller scores 10 points tonight. I'm about to lose to a previously winless team that didn't even set their lineup. Dude had two players on bye and two inactive due to injuries. He also had 4 players put up ridiculous numbers (25+ points apiece)

Gblockbr im in the opposite boat im up by 9 and im playing against heath miller

You set your lineups and played all of your players, correct? :laugh:Gblock;1318415 wrote:br im in the opposite boat im up by 9 and im playing against heath miller -
Gblockyes but i am going to be hating on heath miller tonight. i actually hope he gets the flu and misses the game would be great
-
IliketurtlesI'm hoping for Charles to get at least 67 rushing yards tonight... and need Charles/Bowe to combine for 63 receiving yards lol. Would be epic to get a win after watching Vick go out.

true fan right here, cares more about fantasy than his actual team.Gblock;1318422 wrote:yes but i am going to be hating on heath miller tonight. i actually hope he gets the flu and misses the game would be great -
Gblocki said the flu..not a knee injury..besides we shouldnt need to pass at all tonight and just run it down their throats. first place in this league is $800

Hope not. I'm up 27 in another league and he has Dwyer tonight.Gblock;1318507 wrote:i said the flu..not a knee injury..besides we shouldnt need to pass at all tonight and just run it down their throats. first place in this league is $800 -

I dont expect much from dwyer tonight but i sure wish i would have put him in over m. turner who got a lousy 1pt. he seriously runs up to the line and looks for a place to fall down.BR1986FB;1318517 wrote:Hope not. I'm up 27 in another league and he has Dwyer tonight. -

Sounds like my buddy Jennings from JAX (2.7 points) while I left Chris Johnson on the bench (almost 20 points) not liking his matchup against Miami.Gblock;1318539 wrote:I dont expect much from dwyer tonight but i sure wish i would have put him in over m. turner who got a lousy 1pt. he seriously runs up to the line and looks for a place to fall down. -

Thats your fault for starting a Jacksonville player not named Jones-Drew. What were you thinking?Laley23;1318311 wrote:Too many people to name. But mostly Rashad Jennings...who I started instead of Maclin and DeSean Jackson, both of who scored enough to probably have gotten a win.
I also dropped Olsen of Keller. Olsen has the win in the bag for me. So fuck me. Yeah. I hate FF. -

Rashad Jennings had been a very consistent fantasy play in PPR cause of his catches.xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1318549 wrote:Thats your fault for starting a Jacksonville player not named Jones-Drew. What were you thinking?
Jennings had 22, 17 and 8 (didnt play that week). No reason to think he wouldnt be at or over double digits. In a Flex, thats all I was looking for.
Also, Cecil Shorts has been a man. Being on a terrible team has little to do with how valuable a player is for fantasy. -
Gblockbeing on a terrible team has everything to do with how valuable a player is for fantasy i would say. It doesnt necessarily mean he is a good or bad player. they are all good players. steve smith is a good example. he is probably a top 5 reciever that plays on a crap team with no qb. when he has had consistency at qb his stats go up. when cam gets sacked 9 times it leads to 2 pts. that doesnt mean he sucked this week, he just plays on a bad team.

I dunno, if Charles was on a competent team I think he'd be in the conversation with Foster for #1 overall back. As it is, his team is so bad that he ends up being a 2nd-tier back. He is ridiculously talented.Raw Dawgin' it;1318562 wrote:Jamaal Charles -

My point is simply it doesnt make it a bad idea to play a guy. On a better team his stats might go up, doesnt mean its a bad idea to play him though. -
BR1986FBTrent Richardson is on a bad team. He's not putting up Arian Foster numbers but he's definitely a shining star in the Browns offense. Most people don't target Cleveland Browns for their fantasy team but he's someone most would like to have on their roster.

i agree...this year i have started guys like jennings, kerley, santana moss, and others who are on terrible teams/offenses. sometimes you just hope they have a good week..i had shorts at one point this week and went w/ e sanders in one league last minute.Laley23;1318580 wrote:My point is simply it doesnt make it a bad idea to play a guy. BR1986FBJennings made sense over Chris Johnson, to me, because a) the Jags have NO offense, a crappy QB, Colts run D is pretty porous and Jennings would likely be the focal point and b) Johnson had a matchup against what was supposed to be a good defense.

Amen. It's sad, too, considering the press he received this week, where he said he needed to do his part... no fumble the ball, etc. Well, 20 yards won't cut it either, dick.BR1986FB;1321347 wrote:Reggie Bush can eat a dick.
