Who gets the better end of this trade?

  • OhioStatePride2003
    I get:
    Fred Jackson
    Jermichael Finley

    I give:
    Matt Schaub
    BenJarvus Green-Ellis
    Roddy White

My only RB on the roster that isn't dinged-up right now is Ray Rice. Earnest Graham, Jahvid Best and Beanie Wells are all injured so I need a RB. My other QB is Ryan Fitzpatrick and my other WRs are A.J. Green and Santonio Holmes. Victor Cruz, Donald Nelson and Doug Baldwin are available in FA. Jackson and Finley are having great seasons, would you accept?

Its a fair deal, but you weaken your team in the long run when Best/Beanie get healthy since you cant play them all (but if you think they wont...pull the trigger) by having no WR left and a weakened QB spot.

I'm hoping though that if I can pick-up Cruz, Nelson or Baldwin, they'll produce. There's a couple decent QBs available if Tebow doesn't workout and at least Fitzpatrick has had his bye already. I also thought this was a good way to add a productive RB incase Best really is out for the year. When Wells gets healthy, I can play the match-ups, and there's a flex position available.

I guess I'm just wondering if the production I'll get out of Finley and Jackson will out-weigh that of Green-Ellis and Roddy White. I've been playing Fitz ahead of Schaub anyway, so to me he was kind of a throw-away since Fitz has had his bye week.

Yeah, like I said I think its even and fair. I think the production will end up about even. Maybe a bit in your favor. I just hate trading starters for guys who might start, but if Wells is healthy, they are essentially a glorified bench player for you. If that makes sens???

Honestly, those 3 might be able to land you more on name recognition. White is still getting fantasy love of a top 5 WR, though he isnt close to that this year imo.
