Week 3: Start/Sit Thread
-
WooballAt RB, PPR League:
Frank Gore @ Cincy
or
Fred Jackson v. NWE
Gore is only averaging 2.5 ypc, but I am leaning toward him. Jackson has been solid so far, and could catch a bunch of balls in a shootout against the Pats.
At WR, PPR League - Start 2 of these 5
Jeremy Maclin v NYG
Jordy Nelson @ Chi
Robert Meachem v Hou
Eric Decker @ Ten
MSW v Bal
If Vick plays, Maclin will start. If not, I'm not sure what to expect from Mike Kafka. Not sure what to do with the other 4. The last 2 would probably only be starts if some other guys on their teams are still out with injuries. -
gorocks99Scenario 1, I like Jackson.
Scenario 2, Maclin and Nelson. Although Meachem would typically have the chance to go for more than Nelson in NO's offense, I think Houston's D is for real this year and will hold Brees to slightly-less-than-eye-popping numbers. Rodgers should have a serviceable day against the Bears if last week is any indication; it's just a question of if Nelson will get his share. -
Laley23Jackson in game 1.
Maclin and Nelson in game 2. -
IliketurtlesJackson
Decker and Nelson -
TBone14Ben Jarvis Green Ellis or Daniel Thomas.
-
royal_kEric Decker, Percy Harvin, or Felix Jones at flex. (Not a PPR)
Jones may play, but don't know how much. -

se-alumShould I play McFadden vs Jets or Tolbert vs. KC? Hard to sit McFadden, but the Bolts will light up KC's defense.
-
GOONx19I've got Aaron Rodgers in one league, Drew Brees in another, and Cam Newton as my backup in both. Is Cam only gonna start their bye weeks, or should I throw him in there against bad defenses?
-

McFadden. I still think he gets 70 yards rushing, TD and then some receptions. Tolbert is a good play, but still a timeshare back and Rivers will carve up the Chiefs to the point the starters may only play a half.se-alum;906048 wrote:Should I play McFadden vs Jets or Tolbert vs. KC? Probably only the bye weeks. Certainly right now. He hasnt outperformed either in the first 2 weeks I dont think, despite lighting it up both times.GOONx19;906183 wrote:I've got Aaron Rodgers in one league, Drew Brees in another, and Cam Newton as my backup in both. Fred FlintstoneMichael Vick or Matt Ryan?

TBone14Any other opinions between:
Daniel Thomas and the Law Firm -
JesterShould I go with Eli Manning, or try and pick up someone off of waivers? (Fitzpatrick, Kolb, Sanchez)
Also, in the other league, should I go with Ryan or Stafford? -

Get Fitzpatrick, go with Stafford.Jester;907025 wrote:Should I go with Eli Manning, or try and pick up someone off of waivers? (Fitzpatrick, Kolb, Sanchez)

OhioStatePride2003I'm having a hard time figuring out who to start this week with my team.
At QB - Do I go with Matt Schaub against a solid Saints secondary? Or start Ryan Fitzpatrick? The Pats have given-up a ton of yardage through the air.
I'm good at RB, I think... I got Ray Rice and Beanie Wells starting.
My WR - This is where I'm confused. On most sites, A.J. Green is expected to have a HUGE game against San Francisco. Roddy White should put-up better numbers than he did last week against Tampa Bay.
TE - You can't go wrong with Dustin Keller's match-up against Oakland, even if Shanchez is the one throwing to him.
My kicker is Billy Cundiff, and my DEF is Arizona's - who should be a nice play against Seattle.
Where I'm really struggling, is with my "flex" position. I have Eric Decker against the Titans, Jahvid Best against the Vikings, Santonio Holmes against the Raiders, and BenJarvus Green-Ellis against the Bills. I also have Mike Ingram, who I'm only holding onto for right now incase he finally takes-off with the ground game. I currently have Eric Decker starting, but I think any of the remaining three options could have huge games. HELP!
Also, yes, it's a PPR league. -

QB: Fitzy
WR: White
Flex: Best - Vikings have given up a ton of points to RBs the first two weeks, especially in the passing game, which should help since your league is PPR. Decker won't be the only receiver for Denver this week with Brandon Lloyd back. -
BigAppleBuckeyeOK, in my big money league, we start 3 WRs. To start the year, I rolled with Colston, Britt and Holmes. Colston goes down, I plug in Manningham. With Manningham questionable this week, my plan was to plug in Jerome Simpson, but the knucklehead gets caught with some serious herb. Now my decision sadly comes down to Victor Cruz or Steve Breaston at WR3 (assuming Manningham doesn't play) ... thoughts? Or is there a chance Simpson still plays this week?
PS, this is a 16-team, 24-man roster league, so NO ONE is available to pick up (although I did pick up Jesse Holley from Dallas, in our league, he has some value). -
IliketurtlesOSP- Fitz, White, Best.
BAB this might be a homer pick but I'd start Holley. -
RotinajThis is the first time since ive started doing FF where i seriously cant decide what to do. Need 2 pick 2 rbs 2 wrs and and a rb/wr.
Rbs-Ryan Mathews, McGahee, Mike Tolbert, Steven Jackson.
Wrs-Reggie Wayne, AJ Greene, Mike Williams TB, Devery Henderson, Eric Decker.
My for sure starters are Wayne and Greene at WR and Mathews at RB. So i need to fill a rb and flex spot. Im just worried about all of the injuries 2 my rbs(lost charles for season...) I just dont know if jackson will be ready and Tolberts been hurt along with just not being very effective running the ball(i think mathews will start to take more carries soon enough)
Edit-This is a ppr league -
RotinajIm also starting Matt Hasselgoat over Tony Romo. I just think even if romo starts he wont play the whole game.
-
SportsAndLadyrotinaj...i'm actually thinking about not starting Reggie Wayne, just can't trust Kerry Collins, especially against Pittsburgh's D...i'm gonna make that decision probably around 12:59 today lol
Do I start Ben Roethlisberger @ Indy or Jay Cutler against Green Bay?
