Got the 10th pick...

Normally I don't seek advice of the OC, only feedback, but what do you guys think?

It's a PPR league, with extra points for 40+ yard plays.

My team....PPR, extra points for 40+ yard plays

    QB: Stafford (7), McCoy (13)
    RB: McCoy (2), Blount (3), Mathews (8), D. Thomas (12)
    WR: Fitzgerald (1), Wayne (4), Boldin (5), Ochocinco (6), J. Jones (10), Crabtree (11)
    TE: Pettigrew (9)
    K: Buehler (15)
    D/ST: New England (14)

    Thoughts?

Who was taken? I wouldve gone either Johnson before Fitz this season.

Either way, LeSean McCoy lasting pat 6 in a PPR league means you have this thing locked up lol. In PPR, he is arguably a top 3 pick.

My first thought is you should drop Buehler and pick up Dan Bailey as he will be kicking all the PATs and FGs(except for ones 50+ yards most likely).

As Laley said no way McCoy should last that long in PPR hes a beast you got a pretty good team as far as starters. I really love your Matthews pick I think he will do what everyone expected him to do last year this year.

Taken before me in 1st: Peterson, Foster, Vick, Rice, CJ, Rodgers, Charles, Mendenhall, Andre.

I contemplated Calvin, but in the end decided on Fitz. No rhyme or reason, just an impulse.

I really don't like Blount, but at the same time he was only bonafide starter left when it got all the way back to me at pick 30.

Holy smokes! How are Vick, Rodgers, Mendenall or Andre the Giant more valuable than a RB who will catch 75+ this year? lol.

Great steal is all I can say.

As for Fitz. That makes sense on the impulse. I like Calvin on impulse over Fitz this year, so its kind of a toss up. Id say he has more help, and a more polished QB. But Arizona will probably be having to throw a lot, and I do think Kolb will really excel in Arizona. So they should be very similar.

Laley, I also was a little apprehensive about pairing CJ with Stafford. Not normally a fan of pairing the QB with the wideout, it's never worked out for me in the past. I know it's a little weird that I was already planning on taking Stafford later when contemplating a 1st round pick, but the way the draft was moving, it was pretty apparent I wasn't going to get an elite QB.

I like Fitz more than CJ but if you already were going to take Stafford I might have taken CJ since I am a fan of pairing QB/WR. It also would have been great since you have Pettigrew as your TE. I've also been a fan this year of waiting to get a QB because you can still get a very good QB in like rounds 7-9.

Exactly, a lot more so than in the past. It seems this year there's been a big increase in viable fantasy options at the QB position.

Yeah my main league with friends we had our draft a week before the who Manning neck thing really blew up... well I had taken Manning in the 3rd round but I did get Bradford in like the 12th or 13th round and Im not too worried about it. Our league has a really different setup so getting a great QB who gets a lot of passing yards is a big thing.
