This is a no brainer right?

Someone who didnt make the playoffs dropped Adrian Peterson tonight so I put AP back on his team and locked his team. The #1 priority guy is bitching about not being able to get AP for the playoffs. This shouldn't be allowed right?

Sounds shady I would have done the same thing esp in a $$$$ league.

Definitely shouldn't be allowed. I assume your league doesn't have a "can't cut list" which prevents this sort of thing.

Yes. Correct. Dude shouldnt be allowed back that dropped AP next year. That is shady business right there.

had a cant cut list the first year and it screws people whos stars get injured and cant drop them to pick up someone else right away.

    they do.

They do. Happened for me with Frank Gore this year. I think Z4P was saying that even if that were the case, they don't update the list right away (usually takes a couple days) and unless there is a waiver process for all free agents, the guy with the injured player couldn't make a move with him until the can't cut list is updated.

Yeah they do. Just like the DL in baseball. Allows you to place a player there and pick up another without dropping him.

If you do waivers, the Cant Cut List is updated so you can drop a player on IR as well. But if you dont have waivers, it isnt updated in time usually.

I would tell the guy whos bitching to stfu. Did he really think he was gonna be super slick about something like that?
  • ZWICK 4 PREZ
he tells me im overstepping my bounderies as a commish and flexing my power b/c something that wouldn't benefit me happened. I just think it's unfair to everyone else in the playoffs who didn't get an extra top tier rb after the playoffs started.
  • j_crazy
my ass. he needs to stfu.

BTW, in my league it's full keeper, and once you're eliminated from the playoffs, you're team is locked until the end of the year.

i used to be in a really deep league, 12 teams, start 1 qb, 3 WR, 3 RB, 1 FLEX, 1 K, 1 def. We only had 3 bench slots, and the 1st week of the playoffs one guy loses 2 RB's and his QB for the season, but still wins, the guy he's playing the next week has 3 brothers in our league, 2 didn't make the playoffs, 1 did but lost, and they proceed to pick up every RB and QB available. I was in the playoffs and it pissed me off so bad that I traded the guy P. Manning, B. Westbrook (when he was a fantasy beast) and another RB who i don't remember for his 3 injured guys and watched him clown stomp his way to the title. that was the last year I played in that league with those assholes.
