Am I Dumb?

  So, I have no other defenses to go with this week and I'm doing a roster makeover...
  
  I have Bradshaw and Nicks and Eagles defense...Eagles defense is great against the pass, and below average against the run. I am thinking of benching Nicks, and starting bradshaw and eagles defense. In place of Nicks, I'm putting Malcom Floyd. Am I a moron?

  Who are your other WRs? And sorry I wouldn't bench Nicks he will be good for at least 80 yards and 1 TD. But I also think Floyd should have a good game as well so it wouldn't make you a moron I just hate the idea of benching an offensive player because you have the opposing team as your defense. Even tho the Eagles pass defense is great I just don't see them stopping Nicks.

  calvin johnson and marquis colston...with harvin and nicks on the bench. i feel like they are going to take away nicks and let manningham beat them

  That's a nice core of WRs pretty much any of them could have a big day but after thinking about it I'd probably go with Johnson, Colston, and Floyd as well. I just think Nicks and Manningham will have good days and I think the Giants will bounce back and beat the Eagles this week.

  How can you not start Nicks? If would be like benching CJ2500 because they are playing a good run defense. Maybe not that extent, but Nicks is a must start and if he has a bad game you live with the consequences.
  
  Ask yourself this..would you be more upset if you started Nicks and he has 4 catches for 50 yards, still not knowing what your other receivers will do..or if you don't start Nicks and he goes for 130 and 2 TDs? Nicks has been so good all season, IMO you just plug him in out there every week.

  Well after reading the responses and doing some thinking I have decided to bench Colston and start Nicks, Johnson, and Floyd

  I never said to not start colston... I just said I didn't agree with you not starting Nicks because you have the Eagles D as well. I actually said to start Colston .
