Week 3
-
Wildcat24Thought I'd start a thread for week 3 discussion.
Most of my team I have no worries about, but I have garbage for quarterbacks. I've managed to go 2-0 with a combined 22 points from my QB position so far. After some jostling around, I've got Alex Smith and the Sanchise, both of which looked decent, but not spectacular this past week.
So, Ohio Chatter, who do you like? I realize this is like choosing between a punch to the face and a kick to the balls.
Alex Smith at KC
Mark Sanchez at Miami -
IliketurtlesI'd wait to see what happens with Edwards... If he is playing then I'd start Sanchez if not I'd go with Smith.
Can I ask how you got stuck with that shitty of QBs haha? -
Wildcat24It's a 14 team league, and we have members spread out all over the place (we're based here in Alaska, but have guys in every US timezone and a couple overseas) so doing a live draft is too tough. Just kind of the luck of the draw I guess on my QBs. My other starters are:
HB: Steven Jackson, Ray Rice
WR: Miles Austin, Demaryius Thomas, Mike Williams (TB)
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Nick Folk
Defense: Green Bay
I've put up good numbers despite awful QB production. Week 1 had Matthew Stafford rack up a whole 4 points, then David Garrard bombed in week 2. I've won both games thanks to solid play (albeit no rushing TDs) from those above, so just decent QB play would be nice. That and some rushing TDs lol. -
Laley23Id go Smith. Miami has a really solid defense, and team overall. The KC offense has been anemic so SanFran should have the ball a lot. Only problem is that they can probably run all over the Chiefs.

gerb131Picked up Mark Clayton this week don't think he'll get 2 td's but I may start him over Colston or Moss am I crazy?
-
Iliketurtlesgerb yes you'd be crazy to do that.
Also anyone wanna give me who they'd start at RB? My RBs are Charles(vs SF), Forte(vs GB), Stewart(vs Cincy), Addai(@ Den). Im think of starting Addai and Forte right now just because I dont like the lack of carries Charles is getting compared to Jones. I've also thought of putting Stewart in for Forte just because I feel hes due for a big week and GB D is pretty good but I'll doubt I will do that. -
Laley23Id start Forte and Addai as well.
-
PupRB1= Gore
RB2= jackson,spiller or tolbert
Also a guy in my league has put Malcolm Floyd up for trade and is looking for an RB. Any suggestions on who to start this week and who would you give up for Floyd if you had to. -
IliketurtlesPup,
1) Which Jackson is it Steven or Bradon?
2)Who are your WRs now?
3)I'd try and trade Tolbert for Floyd(Doubtful he would accept) if he doesnt want tolbert then I'd give him Spiller. -
PupSorry about that
1) B.Jackson
2) My WR's are weak sauce right now. Jeremy Maclin, Mike williams (TB), Mike Sims-Walker, Jordan Shipley.
My thinking process is that Ryan Matthews is banged up and has the fumble bug so Tolbert is nearly a lock on the goal line. Spiller has been a black hole on my bench doing absolutely jack shit. Im thinking Spiller about throwing Spiller out there for him. But knowning my luck, Ill trade him and he will have a J.Best like game. -
WooballPPR League, trying to make a decision about my #2 and #3 WR.
Sims-Walker vs PHI
Jacoby Jones vs DAL
Mike Wallace @ TB
Maclin @ JAC
Nate Washington @ NYG -
I drain 3'sNeed one out of these three.

Meachem shouldnt even be on your team. Droppable in all but super deep leagues. The other two its a toss up, go with your gut. -

I have the same bad feeling about Brandon Jackson. I just traded him away today while his stock is still high, so of course he's gonna put up 30+ points this week lol.Pup;493559 wrote:Sorry about that

I'd try moving Spiller also. People are still pretty high on him for some reason for a guy who's done nothing so far. -
NateI'd use Spiller as trade bait also.
