Rate my team, 1 week late

I just noticed we had a fantasy forum...

Kind of close to normal PPR scoring with 2 main exceptions.

    1. TEs get 1 pt for 5 yards and 10 pts for TDs so at the end of the season top tier TEs score just as much as top tier QB/RB/WR. So TEs are important in our league and typically 2 or 3 are drafted in the 1st round.

    2. Bonus points are given the longer the TD. It starts at 6 (or 10 for TEs, 3 for passing TDs) and goes up every 10 yards by 2 points. So a 20 yard TD is worth 10 points for a RB.

    That being said...10 team league...

    Starters
    QB-Carson Palmer
    RB-Chris Johnson
    RB-Jamaal Charles
    WR-Miles Austin
    WR-Steve Smith (NYG)
    TE-Owen Daniels
    K-Jay Feely
    D-Minnesota

    Bench
    QB-Matt Stafford
    RB-Chris Wells
    RB-Clinton Portis
    WR-Michael Crabtree
    WR-Santonio Holmes
    WR-Johnny Knox
    TE-Zach Miller
    K-Dan Christensen
    D-Tennessee

Yes, we have to have backup Ks and Ds on our bench. On bye weeks, we can substitue any position (nearly), if a RB is out, I can play a TE instead, etc.

So, with our scoring there are definitely weeks I'll start both Daniels and Miller.

Now, obviously this past week I started TEN over MIN due to matchup (it worked) and Miller over Daniels since he's not 100% (it worked).

So how'd I do? good? bad? ugly?

I like it, plus when owen daniels is healthy he is a beast for your TE format

Well, I might have to read that 10000 times to understand the scoring lol. But team looks solid. Johnson scores so many long TDs that he will win you some weeks by himself (see yesterday, possibly) and Austin has the big play possibility as well.

Yeah, obviously our league is more "exciting" in that you are nearly never out of a game, a very long TD can bring you right back from sure defeat.

This type of league is becoming more prevalent that for the first time ever I actually saw some fantasy football magazines start rating players based on "bonus" TD scoring (more points the longer the TD).

Anyway, obviously with Johnson, Austin, and Palmer all blowing up this week I won and won pretty big.

We'll see what happens next week.
