Thinking about starting a new fantasy football league, with a twist
-
NonThe concept is this.
You only have one bench spot.
There won't be many teams, only about six to eight.
You get a QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, K and D.
And then only that one bench spot. So you kind of have to be more aware of the bye weeks and pick players with different bye weeks.
The free agent pool will have a ton of good players. If you're not satisfied with one of your starters you can swap for another player on waivers but you will basically drop the player from your roster unless you're able to place that player in the one bench spot. -
IliketurtlesNon I'd be down sounds like this would be some fun.
-
wes_mantoothI like the idea...
-
NonI'll set it up later, either late tonight or tomorrow.
I'm going to keep the number of teams down because I think it will be better if there are more quality options in the free agent pool.
You also probably won't be able to take a bunch of good players from one team. Because when it comes to a bye week you'll only be able to keep one of them on the bench or you can leave a starter in and take no points for one week. A little different strategy involved. -
HeathAlum21Or, you could get players with the same bye week. You would basically be punting only one week, but would be at full strength for all the other weeks.
-
NonThat's right ^^
That might be the better way to go if your team is stacked and you think you can overcome that one week. -
hangonsloopySounds cool. I'd try it.
-
NonI think we'll have 8 teams.
so far if you're all in, that would mean:
