... If you're in one of course? lol.... This is the last week of my season before the playoffs start in a 12 team league and the top 6 make the playoff and top 2 get a 1st Round BYE.... I'm currently holding a 1 game lead with a record of 196-151-53 .... 1st Place $90 2nd Place $20 3rd place gets their $10 back.

    My lineup is:

I am in the playoffs, but limping in. Injuries to Kevin Youkilis, Justin Morneau and Stephen Strasberg have rendered my team to a pathetic shell of its earlier self, when I was the power. Plus horribly-disappointing seasons out of Tim Lincecum, Aaron Hill and Matt Wieters and sub-par seasons out of Justin Upton, Andrew McCutchen and Jose Reyes have hurt me in the long term

I started off by FAR the worst team (I forgot about the draft). Now I have over 25 moves (max 2 moves per week) and the next highest is 14 moves. I've been going back and forth between 2nd and 3rd place the last few weeks.

Im currently 3rd out of 12. Pitchers have been fantastic:

    C-Posada
    1B - Miguel Cabrera
    2B - Kelly Johnson
    SS - Alexi Ramirez
3B - Scott Rolen (Gordon Beckham)
    OF - Justin Upton
    OF - Adam Jones
    OF - Manny Ramirez
    UTL - Gabby Sanchez

    Bench:
OF - Vernon Wells (only since drop of Phil Hughes)
OF - Michael Brantley (only since recent call up)
    OF - Curtis Granderson
    OF - Jacoby Ellsbury (DL)

I interchange almost anyone on the squad, particularly (obviously) the OFers. Ive had quite a few players who I had that were great for stretches and then I dropped them (Brennan Boesch, Carlos Santana, etc).

    Pitchers:
    SP - Ricky Romero
    SP - Chris Carpenter
    SP - Travis Wood
    RP - Neftali Feliz
    RP - Chris Perez
    P - Clayton Kershaw
    P - David Price
    P - Max Sherzer
    Bench - Jeremy Hellickson

I had Phil Hughes until 3 weeks ago. Definitely pleased with what I got out of him (waivers) before I dropped his ass.

Ended up increasing my lead to 2 full games in the last week of the season and earned a 1st Round BYE with a record of 209 - 156 - 55 ....

I had to drop Volquez since he is being put in the Bullpen from what I've heard so I picked up Max Scherzer of Detroit to round out my starting pitchers. I could really use the $90 lol

Do you play with retards? Just asking, cause I dont see how Max Scherzer was still available. He has been (arguably) the best pitcher in the AL for aver 2 months now. lol, nice pick-up.

Also, how many categories are you playing? That would be a big indicator on why Scherzer was still out there possibly. Our league is 12 hitting and 12 pitching categories, so of course, only 4 of us had less than 209 losses let alone wins haha.
