Which Draft position would you choose?

  I have three possible places to draft thanks to trades.
  
  Its a 16 team league, these are overall draft positions:
  
  1, 23, 42, 62
  
  or
  
  1,13,61,62
  
  or
  
  1,30,35,62

  Hmm... I would probably go with 1, 23, 42, 62.
  
  The variance between 13-23 isn't much but 42 and 61 is probably a lot greater.

  Probably the 1st one. In a 16 team league, the talent is going to be sparse, so having 3 picks in the top 42 is better than having three picks within the top 61.
  
  The only reason I'd consider option #2 is because it's a 16 team league and having two picks in the top 13 would be great. But that huge gap between 13 and 61 would scare me.
  
  
  The 3rd one shouldn't even be considered, imo. Too big of a gap and a lot of the top talent will be gone before you pick again.

  2nd one, 2 horses can carry you in a league that big.

  But what if one of those two "horses" gets hurt or turns out to be a bust?

  Since you have the #1 pick you are probably screwed either way. You can't draft worrying about injuries, you try to get the best possible team other than maybe getting some backup RBs late in the draft with upside due to injury.
