If there are no spreads (like this thread) all you have to do is pick the winner straight up. You will notice that the odds are quite a bit different for games with spreads versus games without spreads. Most games with point spreads involved have the same odds no matter who you bet on. When you are only picking winners (without spreads) the more a team is favored, the smaller the payout will be and vice versa.
For comparison on tonight's NFL game:
If you wagered 1000 on each of the 6 available options, these would be the payouts...
Panthers +15.5....LOSE
Steelers -15.5......1000 x .91 = 910
Over 37.5.............LOSE
Under 37.5...........1000 x .91 = 910
Panthers (straight up)....LOSE
Steelers (straight up).....1000 x .14 = 140
