tk421what's the point in betting with 1/1 odds? Don't you get the exact same amount back that you bet?
-
ts1227No. You get what you bet back, plus that much again.
(if you bet 10, you get your 10 back, plus another 10)
It's a fairly even match, so I set it to same odds... and if we set both teams to odds over 1, you could bet the same on both teams and still make money.
If you pick the correct team, you double your money. If you bet on both teams equally, you would break even. -
tk421oh, ok.
-
Glory Daysah ok, i was confused by that too.
-
ts1227Yeah.. any bet you win guarantees your money back.
The odds presented are what you win on top of that. -
ts1227ttt for the 4th

That would be 2/1 odds, wouldn't it? -
ts12273-1 Oakland
Cleveland with 8 hits, Okaland with 7. Had them fairly early, bullpens both gave up next to nothing
No HBP
Cust had a single and double, but no HR
Hafner only had a single
Errorless
Joe West did have to talk to the OAK manager regarding a catcher interference call, but no argument or ejection.
