I ask the people who are laissez-faire capitalists on this board, most of you are, what you think of the current state of antitrust in regards to recent rulings and investigations?
I see Google turning into a giant monster pretty soon and it may be already. Microsoft was the same way in the 90s and I think everyone has been pretty distracted with them since then (I'm looking at you European Commission) when for the most part they've been on the straight and narrow.
I think Apple and Google are far more abusive of their dominance than Microsoft is now and yet Microsoft continues to take the brunt of the antitrust lawsuits in the tech arena. The worst of them is Intel though they're under investigation if I remember correctly.
Thoughts?
