How has the Obama administration had an "anti-weapon" mentality, Belly, as you said earlier in the thread.

    Really curious on this one.

they haven't, and Belly won't be able to give you anything close to resembling a coherent thought in response

It's pretty easy to just link articles from places with clear bias towards one side. Hell, that article you linked about Obama Renouncing Reconciliation came from a site whose main page has an article entitled "Haiti: The Only Solution is Obama's Impeachment".

    Get real.

I woke up today like I do everyday want a better world for everyone. I have not been paying attention the the Job Bill but thinking anything is better that nothing..........WRONG

This Job Bill is a nightmare and a joke, wake me when we get rid of the clowns in Washington.

The Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act sounds good: $20 billion for highway and transit projects, and $15 billion in tax credits, payroll-tax relief and bond-interest payments for schools and energy projects.
Short term position will create little to no new real jobs just keep present worker hired. Spend, Spend and Spend ………..Assholes

Estimates the Job Bill law would only generate 250,000 new positions nationwide, which will do little to address the national employment crisis, which has left more than 17 percent of the country either without work or underemployed. Roughly 11 million new jobs are needed to get the country back to pre-recession jobless levels. Clueless in Washington

The payroll tax credit would yield just $80 per new worker a month, compared with the more than $1,500 a month the companies spends for new entry-level employees. Employers like would have to spend nearly $19,000 to save $1,000 now, and to get a $1,000 tax credit a year later. Great Plan as a business owner I’m going to jump on that sword.

Stark County received 161 Million in Stimulus that was to create jobs. Note: Saving a job is not creating a job in Belly mind. So with that 161 million 600 jobs where saved or created, mostly in high way project that are now over and unemployment when up in Stark county to 11.5.
That would equal to $193,333.00 per job.
I have been trying for over a year to get $125,000 to continue a new product. With that money I estimate the creation of 3 new jobs within a year and if sale goes up additional 2 more people. Plus the increase in product sale tax, employee spending in the area and lunches.

It has been a few days and I have had time to think, evaluate and understand what I can do to be most effective in my efforts to protect my country and preserve my rights as a free citizen of the United States..

I’m one voice and I have spoken with letters, e mail, and phone conversations to Congress and Senator staff, faxes and even received two return calls from the Public Servant John Boccieri of the 16th district. I have done everything to give support and backlash when needed to my representatives. I have suggested ideas and provide documentation to support other options. I voiced my views and concerns to my representative of Congress and Senator in a proper manner.
I have served my country and served to protect the Constitution and served the great people of America and served to provide a better life for my family, my children and their children. I would expect nothing less for any Public Servant to have those same values, morals, ideas and dedication to our country. As soldier we bestowed our lives to the Creator, American the great Nation and the honor to be American Soldier with no question nor demand just the ideology of Freedom and Duty. Again that same commitment is expected from those that I elect as my representatives. The Healthcare passed against the overwhelming public rejection …those Public Servants who are to be our voice did not heed the call of We the People.. They shall hear a different call from WE THE PEOPLE. I will not stand idly by and watch my country destroyed by liar’s cheats, backdoor dealing, strong arm politics, unconstitutional action, plane rides, promises, last minute deals, corruption and deaf eared senators and congressman on both side. I’m just one voice but when I speak next time I will be 25 and then 50 and then more and I will not stop until the leadership of this country and those that hold Public Servant office will see my face, and the face of hard working America feed up of taxes and fraud, hear my word and the words of all America that shout no more scam and lies, awe of the crowds that gather for Freedom and witness the power of Working America. Whatever is required to meet that goal I will be in the front row, free, proud, relentless and prepared to confront those that oppose my rights to preserve Free American Citizen ……… Our government is the American People Government not those that hold office and their agenda, ideas and vision for America. I will be taking back our government for the American Citizens, for Working America for Free Americans …… not the politicians. They will be what they are called Public Servant to the American People.

My first step is to get support from those that feel as I do and the find those running for office that will support what I’m going to be doing.
Second I will gain knowledge, educate myself on the issue and prepare for the task ahead. I have contacted Jin Ranacci office to see of they are willing to support my effort to support his bid for congress.
My goal is to go and round up as many Veterans oraginization in the 16th District as I can.
I will do what I do best ..talk. Educate them to what is happening, make them knowledgably of the potential effect of this Administration and what effect Bills like the Heathcare will have on them, to sell the idea that they can be the point man in restoring our Freedom and encourage them to vote.

I start my next Tour of Duty now.

Despite what the Feds are feed the media and the public and the unrealistic reporting of a better economy, more public spend, job creation and the list of false projections…..the economy in the real world is getting worse.
I deal with two different aspect of the business world…one engineering, architectural and manufacturing and the other with heavy equipment manufacturing and product production. I see nothing good happening, if anything things are getting worse. I see this continuing until the Congress and Senate are replace and a equal balance of checks and balance can be in place within our government three branches and the confidence of the business world is restored knowing that the out of control spending of the government and the potential business/public tax breaks can produce confidence and lending. Maybe just maybe sometime after November if Democrats lose control of the House and or Senate or both.
What happening in the real world is sales down for everyone (sure they many be up some, little if any but up from what and all time low of 2009) but for most small business we are still at a lose of sales, bank not lending, low confidence in the government, lack of government trust, government spend out of control, limited or lower business line of credit, gas prices, people cutting back on purchasing, higher taxes, more and more unemployment build more concern and fear of losing their jobs, store, business and shut down send a even more worried message. I also see less civil engineering of plot mapping of hundreds of acres which only translate to less area development, less design and architectural planning in the future and less building materials sold. Heavy equipment sales down (new) another 60% this year and small service center closing, large fleet cutting back, less independent owner on the road, truck freight estimated lowest ever………..does not scream of any recovery.
Much of the unemployment to date where in area of low labor position, small retail, service organization and non-profit organization personnel. Now the next level of unemployment is unfolding into those markets of Professional operations. Architectural, Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting, Investment, Banking, Medical Service Centers, Education, Police, Fire and EMS.
The hope and change for some of you educated liberal professional will be unemployment ....enjoy he’s your President. Hey! just look at it like this, it’s your wealth that just got spread and that what you wanted.

Having read other posts by Belly, I understand why he feels the way he does. He is a Conservative and he is angry about the direction the country took in the last election. I don't personally agree with very many, if any of his points, but I certainly defend his right to say what he wants. It's part of our Constitution and we are, contrary to some folks beliefs, still living under it's tenants and abiding by it's rules as interpreted by our court system. The thing that disturbs me is that Belly has no President. In 1992, I voted for George H. W. Bush and he was defeated by Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton became my President even though I didn't personally vote for him. We can't just leave society until a "better" person becomes President. I think this is where many people get the opinion the the Conservatives are obstructionist people who are the Party of "No". If my choice can't be President then we will all sit back and wait for Obama to fail and won't give a rat's (fill in the appropriate word) about our country or our economy or anything else until such time as our stubborn opposition to each and every word that comes from our President's mouth translates into a person who will bring back Conservatism to our Federal Government.

Sometimes, to paraphrase an old Barry Goldwater quote, "Conservatism in the cause of Liberty is no vice". I would simply point out that there are times when Conservatism can be a very real vice, if all it seeks is power. Before my Conservative friends have a cat, it goes both ways. Liberalism can also be a vice if all it seeks is power. In the Election of 2008, when I changed my registration to vote for the Democrats, I thought we needed new ideas because the old ones had obviously failed. I still believe that the President in the White House is trying as hard as he can to ease the economic stress our citizens feel and I'm going to stick by him because he is my President and I hope that he succeeds. Why would I want our economy to continue to fail unless it was just a power grab?

Hey! Annesberg I remenber something about ...
Obama was the first chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge :dodgy:
    Small world....

Do you think it is a good idea that more States will require canidates to provide birth certificate before being place on the ballot?

Nice checks and balance system...... don't worry Obama good right?

You wouldn't believe Obama was born here if you had his birth certificate in hand.

As important as I am ..:D It not what I believe or not, it what the public wants to know, believe and trust. Have States require birth certificate is a good idea would you say? Help provide the canidates with a degree of truth and trust.

I would like to see more of Obama transcripts from the colleges he has attended and those Chicago Annenburg files also.
