I Agree With Chris Matthews
-
bigmanbt^^^^^ Yes he will. Too bad Fox News seems to have a grudge against him.
I disagree though that Obama is dumb, I actually think he is very smart, just misguided. He would absolutely DESTROY Palin in any debate. They talk about Palin cause she is a joke, plain and simple. -
believerBack to the point of this thread Chris Matthews is an idiot and a hypocrite...but most leftist are.

The only one that doesn't is Beck. I know Hannity hates him because Dr. Paul is a threat to his neo-con ideology. I do find it kinda funny that the most conservative man in Congress can't get on Fox but he is on the most liberal station MSNBC, all the time.bigmanbt wrote: ^^^^^ Yes he will. chs71Palin is capable of doing far less damage than Obama, which is a big plus in my estimation.
Obama is very smart, yet a fool.
Palin is far less knowledgeable, but with a lot of common sense. -

No its still FOX. Cavuto's program runs an hour on the Fox news channel. Just like Hannity and Beck. In fact Beck is on right after him.2quik4u wrote:

Maybe you are implying certain programs on Fox. -

Its still Fox but it was on Fox business and everyone doesn't have that. Now I know he has been on Fox before but its not even close when compared to how many times he has been on MSNBC.majorspark wrote:

Largely agree with this assessment...but I do think Palin is a lot smarter than most people originally thought.bigmanbt wrote: I disagree though that Obama is dumb, I actually think he is very smart, just misguided. Someday, a woman will be elected president....but it won't be Sarah Palin. -

That's because Rupert Murdoch is a huge neocon. Being a neocon is almost a pre-requisite for being on Fox News.2quik4u wrote:

I mean look at the old Hannity-Colmes cherade. Colmes was a joke. It was all a set up to make all liberals look like idiots. It was the Harlem Globetrotters vs. the Wahington Generals--only in the political arena. -

Which was a shame, as Alan Colmes is pretty cool. He's one of the few lib talking heads that can make a rational point without foaming at the mouth.Footwedge wrote:

AppleIt's quite obvious that Matthews is nothing less than a BHO shill... he so much as says it in the op link.
But he is correct about charisma being harmful. The thing is, no one is going to get elected if they have no charisma.
2012 will be avery interesting election. No democrat will have the balls to run against BHO in the primaries. With the nomination locked up, I could see hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of dem voters crossing sides in the primaries for the sole purpose of getting Palin nominated.
If Palin truly wants to do what's best for the country, she will stay on the sidelines in 2012 and let BHO lose. -

The same was said about her debate with O'Biden. I must have missed the part where she got destroyed there.bigmanbt wrote: ^^^^^ Yes he will. Too bad Fox News seems to have a grudge against him.

Anyhow....Murdoch/Ailes....both pro expansionary wars, nation building, interventionalists, and fear mongering. -
bman618Matthews is a big government hack. Frankly, he's a joke that isn't worthy discussion.
As for Obama and Palin, their track records speak for themselves. I wouldn't vote for either of them. -

Dr. Paul is smarter than every single one of those hosts and when he counters any shitty point they try to make, they just try to shut him up by not letting him finish his thoughts (a la O'Reilly and Hannity).2quik4u wrote:

pmoney25If Palin runs, I do not know what I will do when it comes time to vote. I would never vote for Obama but Palin would be a travesty.
The Republican party needs to get away from trying to be like "normal people." I want someone to run who is exceptional, smarter and better than most people yet humble about it. I want someone who actually acts on their ideas and believes in what they are saying. I don't care about being able to have a drink with the president, I want to respect the president. I want a President who will stand up against both parties and do what's best for the American People.
If Obama is re-elected or Palin wins, America is doomed in my opinion. -

You just described Dr. Ron Paul. The Republican Party has shunned him when they should be embracing him and his ideas.pmoney25 wrote: If Palin runs, I do not know what I will do when it comes time to vote. I would never vote for Obama but Palin would be a travesty.

Yea I know, I have been a huge fan of Dr. Paul for awhile now but unfortunately the party has as you said shunned him and cast him off as a loon. Until Americans actually care about performance over personality and actual ideas over talking points, we are going to keep making the same mistakes.dwccrew wrote:
