Dear Mr. President: It's not "corpse-man"

  • Strapping Young Lad
What do I care about Obama??? And there are no such thing as gods.

    Bush-Bash! Bush-Bash!!!

No, actually they didn't. I always laughed when Bush misspoke.
    Funny is funny!
  • Strapping Young Lad
Well, a thread about the president screwing up words....Who came to your mind???
  • majorspark
This is one of my favorites. I always get a laugh out of this.

  • Strapping Young Lad
That one's embarrassing, but Biden takes the cake with the wheelchair thing. That's the worst one i've ever seen. Bush's "fool me once" makes me laugh everytime I see it tho.
  • majorspark
Your right lol at "stand up Chuck".

  • Writerbuckeye
I'm sure strapping and the minions who drooled at every verb Obama uttered during the campaign just can't quite wrap their heads around the fact that this guy is such a total fraud...and the truth is now making itself clear.

    Great orator?

    Yeah, right.

I am willing to give anyone a break on mispronunciations and the like. But the beating that Bush took from the left, combined with Obama's supposed brilliance, makes this worth dwelling on for awhile. The more I learn about Obama, the more pedestrian his intelligence appears.

    ^^^Spot on.

Not quite sure...but I think you just insulted pedestrians. :)

    No one's perfect.

Bush pronounced nuclear "nuke-u-lur" and we still all made it to 2009 alive.

Shit like this is just a way to complain about nothing and avoid the issues.

You've got it. Our political parties want to keep playing divide and conquer using wedge issues and stoking irrational hate for the party in power. It's been going on for a long time, and people keep falling for it, hence this thread.

I agree. I bet he really did not even graduate from Harvard. I hear you can get those law degrees by signing up to one of those internet sites and paying your fees. It's just like his birth certificate. Until I see it he is not the real president.

Good Lord. Not the birth certificate conspiracy again. :)

Can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not...if so, well played. If you are serious, you get one of these...

  • Writerbuckeye
Oh he was being sarcastic -- and trying to equate challenging the view that Obama is some super intelligent guy with those who challenged his birth status.

It's a major FAIL -- but he felt obligated to try.
  • Hammerin'Hank
This is a very entertaining thread!

Clearly, as far as the media is concerned, there is a different set of rules for Obama.
  • JoeA1010
Lol. I hadn't seen where I had challenged Obama's birth status. Nothing like throwing up an argument one didn't make to try to refute an argument that one did make.

It's funny to see the same people complain about the very same thing they used to defend Bush on. Ok, so the media is biased, tell us something we don't already know. Both presidents (Bush and Obama) are failures, let's move on and instead of adding fuel to the fire of bickering, let's start voting in people that actually will work together (regardless of political party) to help make our country better and return us to the status we once attained.

How's this for bipartisanship starters? Maybe we can get Al Gore to have his loony left "climatologists" figure out a way to bring Ronald Reagan back from the grave.

I'll rub my magic lamp and get right on that. In the meantime, we'll just shut down this board and stop talking politics. God knows, we don't want anyone to be guilty of bickering.
  • JoeA1010
I guess the rules go something like this: Liberals will make fun of and generally bash conservatives for certain things. And then when the tables are turned, we must not return fire, instead opting to work together to pass liberal legislation.

When I see the media stop insulting Bush, stop insulting Tea Party activists, stop swooning over Obama, etc., then I'll be on board. Until then, when Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc., continue to say and do idiotic things, I will be calling them out (just as Obama continues to threaten to "call out" those who dare disagree with him).

Well see, that's the thing, you're not talking politics, you're whining just like the liberals did for 8 years.

You have been sucked into the very thing you don't like.

"Return fire," i.e. act exactly like the people you think are "wrong" with politics today. You can try to justify it, rationalize it, all you want, but the fact remains that...liberals are idiots and the like for calling out Bush for ridiculous things...as are you.

Not sure how we missed this. Cut the name calling- LJ

Whining? LOLOLOLOL. No. Not even close.

DISCUSSING the continuing disparity in how the media treats members of the two parties is not whining. You calling it that doesn't make it so.
