ACORN foe James O'Keefe arrested by FBI in plot to tamper with phones of US Senator
-
BigdoggNow lets see, who could have taught him or his buddies how to bug phones? Wonder if he got his training in remote areas of Pakistan or some dark corner of a Fox News station. Should he be given the rights of a common criminal or does this come under some Bush policy on indefinite detention? I'll leave that to the republicans to decide.

fish82He's a kid that got a little big for his britches and overreached. I guess single-handedly doing the job of the MSM and exposing one of the most corrupt government funded agencies in history will do that to a guy.
He fucked up, and if found guilty, will be held accountable. -

Congress? Oh....ACRON, of course.fish82 wrote: exposing one of the most corrupt government funded agencies in history -

If we had a real Fourth Estate in this country, I'm sure he'd have been less inclined to do this. But do it he did, and he will face the consequences as he should.
Oh and for the original poster: he has not been charged with wiretapping. The leftists who are creaming themselves and calling this "Louisiana Watergate" are simply buffoons for jumping the gun.
If he ends up being charged with placing bugs, then he should definitely go away for a while -- but that isn't what he's charged with at this point. -

So you think he was there to use the phone?Writerbuckeye wrote:

It doesn't matter. The FBI screwed the pooch by popping them before they could really do anything.Bigdogg wrote:

This would be the same Fox News that the Marxist Midget (Robert Reich) wrote about recently and said:Bigdogg wrote: Now lets see, who could have taught him or his buddies how to bug phones? "In December 1994, Bill Clinton proposed a so-called middle-class bill of rights including more tax credits for families with children, expanded retirement accounts, and tax-deductible college tuition. Clinton had lost his battle for healthcare reform. Even worse, by that time the Dems had lost the House and Senate. Washington was riding a huge anti-incumbent wave. Right-wing populists were the ascendancy, with Newt Gingrich and Fox News leading the charge. Bill Clinton thought it desperately important to assure Americans he was on their side."
Problem is, Prof. Reich failed to realize that Fox News didn't even go on the air until 1996 -- and wasn't even incorporated (via paperwork) at the time of those elections.
Oh you silly leftists and your Big, Bad Fox News. -

I am pretty sure that was a joke that only only our (mostly conservative) fellow posters would not have got on this forum.CenterBHSFan wrote:Bigdogg wrote: Now lets see, who could have taught him or his buddies how to bug phones? I will tell you what Writer, lets make a bet. If there are no wiretapping charges filed I will will impose a permanent self-ban to this forum. If there is, you do the same.Writerbuckeye wrote: Show me the arrest affidavit that says he has been charged with wiretapping and I'll shut up.

If the kid (and he is a kid) is guilty he needs a just punishment.
Other than that this is a snoozer. -
Writerbuckeye
Why would I do this? My point was that no wiretapping charges were FILED YET and I was chastising the MSM for jumping to that conclusion -- including a racist Washington Post reporter who got her ass burned by ignoring the ACORN "pimp" videos until forced to cover it. And then she charged the whole thing was racism.Bigdogg wrote:

So if the charges follow, I'll be right there with those folks calling for him to get real time in prison. -

First off I do not watch Fox News or NSNBC or any other "entertainment" news channel for that matter so I really do not know what your talking about. Second, I figured you would take the coward's way out. You are very good at back peddling.Writerbuckeye wrote:

chs71O'Keefe appears to have done something stupid, but there are not yet any charges of tampering with the phones.
-
stlouiedipalmaI see nothing here that's even newsworthy. This guy, in my opinion, is looking for another 15 minutes. I don't believe he should get it. Let this "story" die a natural death.

WriterbuckeyeNot accepting some lame ass bet from you isn't back peddling.
Then I wouldn't expect you to know that. -

You were the one that opened your big mouth up a deal. Frankly I can easily live without posting on this forum. It's full of people at the extreme margins of politics then the majority of mainstream America. People like you need this forum to expound your silly BS not me.
I have been around a long time and consider myself pretty conservative in most areas of government policy. I starting working when I was 10 years old delivering newspapers. I worked in fast food in high school and put myself through college working in union and non union factories. Your just another one of the many young punk, snott nose kids on here that have no frickin clue.
For the past 22 years I have worked in the 3rd sector of business. I have forgotten more then you will ever know. You go ahead and keep posting your witty reply's. It's dam good entertainment for me. -
