I hope more states decide to do this. It's about time someone decides to stand up to the government. The provision making insurance mandatory does nothing but give the insurance companies millions of more customers. -
chs71The fact that Democrats did not include interstate competition by insurance companies and want to prohibit the states from legislating tort reform proves that that the Democrats are not really intetrested in lowering the cost of insurance. Like everything else we've seen from Obama/Pelosi/Reid it's about control and payoffs to special interest groups.

CenterBHSFanInteresting...
According to the attorney general, a citizen's choice not to buy health insurance cannot rationally be construed as economic activity subject to the Commerce Clause.
"The Commerce Clause gives no authority for Congress to transform a citizen's individual choice to be inactivein the marketplace into a compulsion to purchase apparently unwanted insurance or be penalized," he wrote. -
Mr. 300Let them have it.

On another thread where I posted that 15 states are considering a law suit over the bribes and kickbacks. Add in the union exemption and most Americans are smelling an awful stench coming from Washington.tk421 wrote: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/19/florida-attorney-general-threatens-lawsuit-health-care-mandate/
